Who here is familiar with MrMickeysMom? If you aren't, she's a big truther who hangs out in the 9/11 forum.
She posted a question on ask the administrators, wondering why the movie Zeitgeist has been hidden away in the conspiracy section. Her exchange with Skins is pretty funny. At the bottom of her OP, she identifies herself as Lois Drumheller. Being a nosy individual, I googled her name, and she's all over the place. Apparently she's a councilwoman in Monroeville, PA, who caused a bit of a stir by signing a truther petition and included her council-elect status.
Just keep in mind that she's an elected official next time you come across one of her insane posts. Not only is she crazy as a bedbug, she's pretty mean spirited as well.
Here's her rather lengthy OP to the admins. The funniest part is Skinner's reply to her, and her reply to his *insolence*. She is quite full of herself. Imagine having to listen to her at a council meeting.

Why do you not bother to explain 4 times reasons you have locked me

Zeitgeist - Caballilistic, NWO. Many stolen ideas from other movies to create a millenial conspiracy involving Religion, 9/11 and NWO type elements. Includes many ideas from Loose Change.
To recap my last question- I asked why the mods would find Zeitgeist discussion somehow hateful or anti-Semitic, since I hadn't heard it from the DU membership, but I received no explanation. I therefore mentioned doing a poll. But, you don't appear to want that either, so that you can get DU's opinion. I do not believe the administrators appear to want to admit their decision to lock talk of a certain a movie, which, by the definition of Pinto seems to be right in line with the many subject movies or "conspiracies" already discussed in the 911 thread, where the poll was placed.
My poll was an attempt to seek what DU really felt, and I tried to use your own words in that poll, non biased, also to place it in the 911 forum And, what I received is not a response about my shock in locking any discussion, but another locking of A POLL TO SEE HOW DU FELT! I already knew how the administrators felt without any viable explanation. But, so far, it appears you want to lock this due to the severity of Zeitgeist having "stolen" ideas from other conspiracy films which apparently we CAN discuss on the same forum. Can you actually be serious?
I could and WOULD respect a reason for locking from the administrators if it were, say, due to the fact that any advertisers may have already expressed not LIKING it, or not liking a film which makes strong comment against the world's current model of a monetary / marketing resource based economy, and a film that appears to want to revolutionize current memes of how the wolds gotten to the point of economic disaster (something we are seeing in posts tonight from Africa). This film introduces revolutionary ideas which lead to a resource based economy, and it uses plenty of science and some very respectable experts with data. It uses the word, "****" a few times and has comedians talking like Bill Hicks and George Carlin, and economists, scientists, people who have talked to Larry King from the 70's and who are part of this movement. You talk like they are SS agents, or Nazi's. I re-watched and if anything, they talk about social injustice, including what was done by the Nazi's, but they point to systems that enable aberrant and go WAY beyond this. The film has been presented in a way that takes no offense to any ONE religion, but rather states religion (as Joseph Campbell did many times with Bill Moyers and others) as one of the many myths, tied to other forms of marketing. Shit, you can go over to the Atheist/Agnostic threads and hear much worse than that. The Zeitgeist stuff is in line with the Joseph Campbell stuff of transformation of religious myth through time, based on how society acts, and what drives its economic and role model systems.
Did any one of you actually WATCH any of these films all the way through? I can't believe for one second that you did, based on your behavior.
I may love DU, but let me inform you of something I believe you need to hear. I think the explanation that you have given me over this locking of Zeitgeist shows me a side of this Discussion Forum in which the moderators of this forum would rather be dishonest with a me than admit the more obvious answer to the behavior. Might this forum be getting any pressure from advertisers? (because this is the only reason I can come up with). Might your real motivation be one of playing a safe role with some of DU subject matter in order to preserve the kind of forum DU has been? By the way, it is one that I've always liked.
Just be honest with me and cut to the chase like humans with guts and integrity SHOULD. I will understand and respect an answer like that, but not this bullshit.

2. I can understand and respect your not wishing Zeitgeist videos to be here...
... but you're not coming in first place on the respect meter.
I recommend you see the series and re-examine why you would stoop to such an insolent response not befitting of someone running a forum of this caliber.
