Gas jumped 16 cents overnight.  It was $3.39 fir the cheap stuff on Saturday and today it was $3.55,  the premium is $3.75.

A lot of the price is direct and indirect taxes.  Given how fickle the average voter seems to be, I entertain "evil" thoughts like hoping it gets significantly higher between now and the election.  Sadly, that may help us remove Obama more than winning hearts and minds to the conservative side.

Price range of $3.05 - $3.09/gal For regular and $3.29 - $3.39 for Premium.  Prices have dropped a few cents lately.

Gas prices here in Denton have gone up 23 cents in the last two weeks, from $3.06 to $3.29.

I like your thinking. When Romney takes office, the price would drop drastically with a good energy policy.

Todays local gas prices are a range of $3.14 - $3.39/gal for regular and $3.27 - $3.78 for premium.  Reg went up about .10/gal from a week ago Premium stayed the same on the bottom end but went up .40/gal on the top end. the major difference is the price spread around town. Usually only a couple pennies a gal spread.

A reasonable energy policy would stabilize prices but the upswing for now is summertime travel increase which increases demand.

I dunno what's going on but something is in the wind. Normally there is usually a couple pennies difference in prices here ,I've never in 20 yrs seen a .25 difference in price.

The cheap gas was $3.04/9 when I filled up yesterday. Up 20 cent from a couple of weeks ago.

Ordered a tank of oil before THAT starts going back up.

Stopped in Northwood for diesel at $3.55/9. I only could take 20 gallons but hey it was ten cents more on the coast and two bucks is two bucks when your going right by.   :whistling:
