Biodiesel in my province at least is exempt from fuel taxes.
Fuel tax for regular gas is 15.5¢/L (58.5¢/G) and regular diesel is 15.4¢/L. All provinces are different but thats what we pay here.
However fuel also has HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) of 15% (highest in Canada) added to the cost. But I don't have to pay that either since I'm not buying it from anyone.
During the summer months I don't buy fuel and with he cost of it spending time on the weekend to make it is time well spent.
Without going into great detail what does your process entail and what safety standards do you follow to ensure you are not a hazard to your neighbors and the environment in the process. What type of permitting is required.
Every time I read of someone whipping up a batch by hand I think of meth labs. Don't know why that is but I do, maybe it is the explosions that you see in the movies.
I would love to fill the MH with tax free fuel. Wouldn't it be lovely.
At eight miles to the gallon you know you have been somewhere when you stop to pump 100 gallons. And the petite pumps for diesel cars just makes it all the worse, a mistake I try to avoid whenever possible.
