Seventy-four House Democrats are asking Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to recuse himself from any health care reform cases, citing reports that his wife financially benefited from efforts to repeal the legislation.

The members, led by Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.), ask that he “maintain the integrity of this court.”

I didn't see any of this from the left when the Ghey judge in Califruitopia ruled on Proposition 8.

Worry not.....this just reinforces how desperate they are.  A sitting Justice does not need to recuse based on his wife's activities, unless they are actually before the court.

If there ARE any Justices bowing out, the first should be Obama's latest appointment, as she actually argued the administration's case on OBamaCare in her prior position.

Then there IS that old antiquated "Seperation of Powers" thingy......when was the last time that what some congressmen wanted affected the deliberations of SCOTUS.  If nothing else, the Dems just pissed off another Justice.......that doesn't bode well for them, they may be judges,  but they ARE human.......

Why didn't that little troll Daschle recuse himself from the TSA debate? His wife benefited HEAVILY from lobbying to remove the security burden from the airlines, who were her employer.
