The COBRA will be paid for three months. I will not be eligible for Medicare for four more years. In the meantime, I have several pre-existing conditions that will not be covered.
As DUmmies always do, DUmmy murielmnumbers is lying. One feature of COBRA is that when it runs out, you are able to purchase a private policy from the same carrier that covers everything the COBRA covered, including pre-existing condiitions. It's more expensive, since you aren't benefitting from the corporate group rate, but it's available. Of course, a DUmmy wants someone else to foot the bill.
