Feel Sorry for me please ...
« on: February 03, 2011, 04:58:10 PM »
We are supposed to get 1" - 3" 's of snow tonight.  It is almost 30 degrees and might actually get colder.  This is ridiculous!

Please feel sorry for south east Texas.  Keep us in your prayers .... you may not hear from us for quite sometime after tonight.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

The one you are getting tonight is the one that supposed to be here tomorrow night or is it the one on Monday?

The weather guy just said there is sleet just south of us, depending on when it gets here it will be sleet, snow or rain. Same for tomorrow morning. Then rain, then back to snow tomorrow night/Saturday morning.

More coming in Monday/Tuesday, and again on Thursday.

However...that was the 6pm forecast.

It will be different at 11pm tonight.... :whatever:

Been stuck in the house since this storm hit. Ice EVERYWHERE!! No relief seen until Saturday now. Side streets are impassable around the neighborhood. Thankfully, no significant power outage except for the induced rolling blackouts. ONCOR stated that there would not be any more rolling blackouts even though tonight is supposed to be the coldest night of the year!! Something stinks about the rolling blackouts they did induce because of the extreme cold forecast for tonight.

KC, we are just sharing the suffering.  :-)  Feel my pain?  My Mom is in Rockport, and cold too!

We will finally get above freezing on Saturday.  Schools have been closed since Tuesday, and are closed tomorrow too.  It's weeks like this I wish I worked for an ISD.
