Small humans are not pray, never bite or try to eat one.

Never take a dump inside if a human is watching you.

Never eat yellow, blue or green snow.

When a humane is angry sit off to the side and watch, never get underfoot unless protecting them.

All ways watch the humane cook, they may drop something tasty on the floor.

When water falls from the sky and big light flash, a big loud noises happen keep your cool and don't panic.

Keep the nose on 24/7, smell something odd or see smoke alert the human in any way you can, bark, howl or paw at them.

Riding in big smelly machines can be fun, try to learn not to vomit on the human.

The human is a dogs responsibility, follow them everywhere to keep them safe, this includes watching them sitting on a cold chair next to a closet that gets them wet.  Learn to read the human, there are signs that they wish to be left alone.  Do not wait to be escorted out of the sleeping room and never try to sniff a humans bare butt when they are sleeping or not paying attention to you.

Never get humans clothing out of any container and run through the house when strange people are there.

Keep an eye on those things that humans put on their feet, they are Evil and will force the human to leave you alone, leave you for hours or days.  Dint try to kill these things, humans get upset over that but a good humping may stop the foolishment.

Stand proud, if your humans go away and new humans come into your life, give them your loyality and make sure they do not sit on that cold chair without you watching.

Brought a tear to my eye there Sparky.  We had to put one of our dogs down a few years ago, and I still miss her  :bawl:

Just to make it easier to read for my bad eyes.

1. My life is likely to last 10 to 15 years. Any separation from you will be very painful.

2. Give me time to understand what you want from me. Do not break my spirit with your temper, though I will always forgive you. Your patience will teach me more effectively.

3. Please have me sprayed or neutered.

4. Treat me kindly, my beloved friend, for no heart in all the world is more grateful for your kindness than mine. Don’t be angry with me for long, and don’t lock me up as punishment. After all, you have your job, your friends, your entertainment. I have only you.

5. Speak to me often. Even if I don’t understand your words, I understand your voice when it’s speaking to me. Your voice is the sweetest sound I ever hear, as you must know by my enthusiasm whenever I hear your footsteps.

6. Take me in when it’s cold and wet. I’m a domestic animal and I am no longer accustomed to the bitter elements. I ask for little more than your gentle hands petting me. Keep my bowl filled with water. Feed me good food so I may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding. By your side, I stand ready, willing and able to share my life with you, for that is what I live for. I’ll never forget how well you’ve treated me.

7. Don’t hit me. Remember, I have teeth that could easily crush your bones in your hand, but I choose not to bite you.

8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I’m not getting the right food, I’ve been out in the sun too long, or my heart may be getting weak.

9. Take care of me when I get old. For you will grow old too.

10. When I am old, or when I no longer enjoy good health, please do not make heroic efforts to keep me going. I am not having fun. Just see to it that my trusting life is taken gently. And be with me on that difficult journey when it’s time to say goodbye. Never say, “I just can’t bear to watch.” Everything is easier for me when you are there. I will leave this earth knowing with my last breath that my fate was always safest in your hands. I love you.

This is so moving. Thanks, Sparky.

It's so sad that they're with us for such a short time. I've had people say they won't get another dog because they lost their dog and can't bear the pain. I usually say the pain is worth the years of joy, devotion and love. I couldn't think of living without my greyhounds. It would be easier to travel without having to find a dogsitter and easier to clean the house without them, but life wouldn't be as sweet.
