I hate it, hate it, hate it! It's teaching religious education at a church, which I took because it was easy money and I have a ministry background. But I am now a staunch agnostic/borderline atheist and I just ****ing hate organized religion. I hate working with privileged white people who are too ignorant to know they're privileged. I hate the idea that parents have that church school should be fun to exclusion of their child's spiritual education.

Case in point: I offended a parent by telling her that her children were disruptive brats in a class and of course her little darlings would never behave that way!!  Now the minister has issues with me and called me just to tell me he has issues with me but I shouldn't worry about until we can meet in person next week. WTF? Why not just ****ing wait until next week to talk to me instead of ruining my whole ****ing week knowing I'm in trouble? 

I just really, really, really wish I could quit this ****ing job but I need the $500 a month it pays.

Sounds like one of those self-correcting problems.  Maybe the church should find another teacher.

You signed up for the job, knew what it entailed, ya work with children ( shiver ), and you think your employers are stringin' you along!

If I knew who the **** you were, I'd email this to the Rev, so he could see what his money is payin' for! Ya ungrateful puke!

Well of course they will get offended if you phrase it that way! There's a huge difference between "Your kids are disruptive brats" and "I just wanted to let you know that I have been having some issues with Susie and Johnny in class."

This is grade A, first class bullshit.  I can't think of a single religious institution outside of a cult that would hire somebody so completely incapable of communicating effectively as a teacher; regardless of subject.   :bouncy:

Where does this $500 come from?  If this is in church, as he/she states, then it would come from tithing from members, who assume the money goes to God's work.  I've got a real problem with this particular despicable DUmmy, and I hope it gets fired.  I'm keeping my eye on the Lounge next week.

Yeah, it shouldn't be too tough to find someone else with a worthless liberal arts degree and a minor in religious studies, and with a sunnier attitude to boot.

I'm going to keep looking for her whenever I can find the time. From a quick search, she's from MA, supposedly went to grad school and a UMC seminary in CO, but now lives in MS. She's well into middle age.  Her damn DUmp journal will take days to read through.
