At least they're shooting at us (we're trained and trained and trained on how to respond) and not random, innocent civilians.
How many of the guns used to shoot police were registered?
none I hope. Guns are not registered, and never should be. Buyers criminal history is verified before a sale.
This is garbage. MSM carrying the water for the WH. Making it look bad trying to gin up more money for the "infrastructure." For the record it is awful all these fine police officers have been shot.
It fits in perfectly with their anti-gun agenda, also.
That is absurd, especially since the police initiated many of these encounters. Prayers for those officers injured, as well as the friends and family of those deceased. Terribly tragic, but not connected.
Initiate? All encounters the police have are initiated by them. It's the job, it's what we do. In 31 years of initiating contacts, I had two (2) that resulted in a shooting incident. Believe me, when that happens, it is not fun.
Not all. There was the Detroit incident just a few days ago.
It's to bad many cops don't get enough target practice. I've been on the range with some from time to time. Their shot groups sucked.
I'm not certain what you're questioning, but certainly initiating an encounter isn't a bad thing. However, in not all encounters, could it be claimed that the police initiated them. There's been countless instances where police were ambushed while performing unrelated duties, which certainly precludes the notion that the police initiated those encounters. Shrugs, perhaps we just misinterpreted what the other wrote.
This is a self fulfilling prophecy. Now that the new media mentions it, its going to start happening more often being pushed in the MSM more often.
FIFY.Remember, LEO's are involved in shootings somewhere in this country every day. But if you've got an agenda to push, it just makes more sense to claim that they're being "targeted".
