The most interesting finding in the new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll: 40% think President Obama is a moderate, as compared with 45% who see him as a liberal and 11% who view him as a conservative. That moderate number is the highest for Obama ever in the poll.

After November 2, it's not like he has any choice but to "appear" that way

A leopard can't change his spots, and he sure as hell will never be as accomplished a politician as Bill Clinton......he can't pull it off.

Moderate my ass.  He is making nice while he is barging ahead with his commie agenda through executive orders and regulation.

The left want to create the illusion and that is all it is as we all know.

They must be slanting their polling to lefties, commies and socialists for so many to view him as moderate and conservative.

"Moderate" anything and "Obama" should never be in the same paragraph. Let alone sentence. The list of why he is NOT moderate in any way, shape, or form is just too long to put on a forum post.

Actually my own theory is that this is the real issue with his birth certificate...it's not that it wasn't issued by Hawaii, with or without irregularities, it's that his White mother listed his race and/or his father's race as something other than Black, which would be a huge problem with proud African-Americans and allow the White Guilt Liberals a free pass to vote for someone else instead of having to support him just to show how non-racist they are.

I agree that there is something on it that he doesn't want the world to see. Why else all the millions spent on lawyers defending its exposure.

Liberals call him moderate because he agreed to the Bush tax cuts.  They absolutely wanted taxes raised across the board.  But hey, anything to create democrat voter apathy for 2012, I'm all on board.
