You know how republicans like to sell the idea of "performance" pay? When it comes to everyone else they are all for it. But I have a question:

How about performance Pay for politicians?

And the rest is silence...

On the surface not a bad idea. However, how do you define performance? Would that mean for every moonbat backed law that gets signed into law the moonbats get a bonus?

On the flip side the DUmmies would hate if the GOP congress were to get a bonus for repealing healthcare.

This makes no damn sense! If logic were a cross, these people would be vampires. But how about this...no senator, staffer, congressperson, czar, etc., etc., can earn more than your average grunt. People that run towards the danger are a helluva lot more important than those who get to decide how much money will be delegated for bullets.

My 2 cents:

If the country ain't got a balanced budget then the congress don't get paid and gets tossed out on their collective ass and can never hold a federal office again. This of course would be waived in times of national crisis or war. To prevent the congress from doing that in times that are not an emergency it should be voted on by the people if the congress declares an emergency and that vote needs to have a 65 percent majority.

By the same token, the DUmmies would have to accept the cuts a government that knows we can't keep spending ourselves into oblivion in order to make them feel like the rich are handin' them freebees!
