Notice that, in reality, nothing is said at all about Trent or anyone else actually saying Giffords is to blame for her getting shot. All that is said is that if Giffords was so concerned about violence, then why did she not have security at a public event?

In no rational mind can that possibly equal "blaming" someone for getting shot. But in the typically irrational mind of the modern Leftist, anything that is not an attack on the Right is an attack on everyone and everything else.
