Tucson town-hall meeting ends in arrest of man
 Source: Arizona Republic (Azcentral)

A man attending a special town hall in Tucson designed to promote conversation and healing a week after the grocery-store shooting was arrested after his outburst at a guest who spoke in support of gun ownership. The identity of the arrestee was still unknown Saturday afternoon.

The incident took place near the end of a taping of ABC's weekly "Town Hall" with news anchor Christiane Amanpour. The program, which airs Sunday and is called "Tragedy in Tucson: An American Conversation Continued," reunited many victims, initial responders to the shooting scene and witnesses. It was also open to the public.

Most of the of taping was calm and at times emotional as witnesses recounted the events in which a gunman opened fire at a local Safeway, killing six and wounding 13, including U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.

Toward the end of the taping, Amanpour brought up the issues of gun safety and mental health. As one member of the audience stood up and expressed his support for gun ownership, a man seated near the front in an area reserved for victims and special guests appeared increasingly frustrated and agitated.

Tucson shooting victim arrested for death threat against AZ State Rep Proud(R)
Toward the end of the town hall meeting Saturday morning, one of the shooting victims, J. Eric Fuller, took exception to comments by two of the speakers: Ariz. state Rep. Terri Proud, a Dist. 26 Republican, and Tucson Tea Party spokesman Trent Humphries.

According to sheriff's deputies at the scene, Fuller took a photo of Humphries and said, "You're Dead."

Deputies immediately escorted Fuller from the room.

Pima County Sheriff's spokesman Jason Ogan said later Saturday that Fuller has been charged with threats and intimidation and he also will be charged with disorderly conduct.

6. The man who was arrested was wounded in the shooting.

My guess is that he's traumatized from recent events.

22. There was a report that counselors were being brought in
but I suspect it didn't happen or else someone would have been monitoring Fuller even in a casual way.

It's disgusting that anyone would arrest him instead of giving him the medical care he obviously needed.

Poor, stupid Beth, chiming in from her mother's little camper out there in the California desert. Maybe if Fuller goes to prison, he can meet up with poor, stupid Beth's drug dealer son, who is depended upon by the warden to organize all the other convicts.

If he was a conservative then Beth would be screaming hang him high.

I feel bad for him being a victim of the shooting however when he threatened the life of an innocent person he crossed the line.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

He barely received a flesh wound, drove himself to the ER.  Even if he had been seriously injured you think he'd be the last person to start issuing death threats.  I hope they throw his ass in jail.

I think you're on to something Mosh...Fuller was on the DemocracyNow! radio progam prior to his arrest:

Quote
And the first thing that I wrote down and what my reaction was to it was: "How many other people? How many other demented people are out there? It looks like Palin, Beck, Sharron Angle and the rest got their first target. Their wish for Second Amendment activism has been fulfilled—senseless hatred leading to murder, lunatic fringe anarchism, subscribed to by John Boehner, mainstream rebels with vengeance for all, even nine-year-old girls." There was a little girl named Christina Green, nine years old, who is one of the deceased.

Another thing I wrote down was, "Can we have another fundraiser at the target range, Jesse Kelly?" Jesse Kelly ran against her in the election. And I’ve heard him speak several—a couple of times, and I couldn’t believe he was a real candidate. I thought he was just like a fake candidate. It didn’t seem like anybody would consider him seriously. He came within 4,000 votes of winning the election.
