Palin E-Mail Hacker Starts Prison Sentence

Source: PC Magazine

The man accused of hacking into Sarah Palin's personal e-mail account during the 2008 presidential election has started a one-year prison sentence, despite a judge's call that he serve his time in a halfway house.

David Kernell, 23, is now an inmate at Ashland Federal Correctional Institution in Kentucky, according to Federal Bureau of Prison (BOP) records. His expected release date is November 23.

In April, Kernell was convicted on two counts of destroying records and unlawful access to a computer; he was acquitted of wire fraud charges. In November, he was sentenced to a year and a day, though the judge suggested he be remanded to a halfway house rather than federal prison.

The big problem for the primitive that posted this is that he used a link to Drudge.  That is unacceptable usage of the interner at dummie underground.
You see, I don't care you how feel.  I really don't.  More importantly, neither does anyone else.  Only about 200 people on a planet of 7 billion actually care about your feelings, and that's if you're lucky.  The sooner you grasp this lesson, the better off you will be.  And since almost no one gives a damn what you do, say, think, or feel, appealing to your feelings when you encounter differences of opinion is not only illogical, but useless.

I noticed that.

The subject alone is enough to cause mass anger. James O'Keefe will be mentioned.

Actually, the link is to "Drudge Retort", not Matt Drudge's site.  The one linked gets about 0.000000000000001% of the traffic as the real one.  But it works for DUmmyville.

This the guy that is the son of a communist democrat congressman?
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

3. How much is it going to cost to imprison this kid for an entire year?

In a federal prison no less...

I understand the Palin groupies want their pound of flesh, but seriously, what does it accomplish to imprison this kid? Yeah, what he did was stupid and illegal, but they could've done something to put the fear of god in him without going overboard like this.

Hopefully when he gets out, he'll never be able to work again and he'll have to go on welfare.

Of course. He's a democrat.

5. What happened to O'Keefe?

For much, much bigger crimes?

A slap on the wrist - and they made sure it was a soft slap since O'keefe looks like the biggest wimp ever - well, anyway, ever since the hundreds of chickenhawk repigs were counted.

Who's been missing? I would think he would have been one of the prominent fruitbats there.
