2. I hope you're talking to the right wing, because that's who made Paul Wellstone's memorial an
 "event."

Don't look and point at us for your stupidity.

3. The Wellstone memorial was fine.
The right wing exploitation of it was disgusting.

Who's exploiting this now?

36. Ya know, I was AT the Wellstone memorial, and there was not a damn thing wrong with it.
It was the most beautiful, moving, and inspiring gathering I've ever attended in my life.

And the slavering, howling right wing hyenas who jumped in to tear into Wellstone's corpse, and shit all over our grieving and our celebration of everything Paul stood for can **** themselves sideways with a rusty pitchfork for all eternity.

Uh no it's not.

My only complaint concerning the Wellstone memorial:

They only buried one liberal who attended.

Letting it go unchecked is fine by me.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

People that stupid and ignorant of history should not get public assistance. It is like flushing money down the toilet.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

The DUmmies have no problem with the T-shirts or with the party atmosphere once ObeyWon spoke.

When I first saw the t-shirts I knew it was not a good sign. I can't believe it was a rally. Just as bad if not worse than Paul Wellstone's funeral. I was appalled by that funeral. It was a political rally? He was not the only person who did not die, wife and daughter died too.

Yup--because Wellstone's kid, a lifelong right-winger, had an immediate conversion to the Democrat party when he started jumping up and down on stage at his father's memorial and started screeching, "WE CAN WIN!!! WE CAN WIN!!!"

First, was I away from all news when this Paul Wellstone died.??  Please jog my memory here.  Who was he on the stage of life??

I watched the speech Obama gave and the reaction of the crowd, each time he commended the USA and spoke well of the country the crowd went wild with approval.  I was waiting for the music to the song, "We are the Champs " to come about.    When he said "God blessed America" it brought down the house.

Aside of his posing in his head up, I am the savior position, I can find no fault with his speech, I wonder who wrote it?---

When he told the crowd that Gabby had opened her eyes with such delight, I have to ask, perhaps this event has also opened HIS eyes and those of his wife.  Is it possible that the event may have caused him to rethink his position on government actions.    Or, am I just a cockeyed optimist and reading the signs incorrectly ??

I was this close (--->ll<---) to turning off Rush today. He was playing speeches from the wellstone funeral. I wanted to  :puke: Sounded like a democrat party campaign rally.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

That was a riot.  Lessons on what not to do at a memorial, yet the left still never learns.

Would that we could flush THEM down the toilet.  Hell, they'd be happy wallowing around in a shitty cesspool located OUTSIDE of their brains for once.
