This is Rush's 60th Birthday today. I wasn't sure where to put this but thought Politics is appropriate.
I was raised on the radio since I was a baby, it seemed the radio was on in the house more than the TV, I grew up listening to Barry Farber, John A Gambling and then John B Gambling, then when I was about 8 years old someone named Bob Grant took to the airwaves, even at that young age I understood and agreed with a lot of what Bob would say. At that time WABC radio in NY was a music station, they changed over to a talk format in the early 80's. I think the year was 1988 that Rush broadcast for the 1st time on WABC. I remember listening to him and thinking WOW! he agrees with me on so many things. He was just so different than anyone else I listened to, he has a great sense of humor and he's so confident in his views, he's the sweeter cuddlier version of Bob Grant. Back then I was working a couple of jobs, split shift and going to school on and off so I wasn't able to listen that much, but I relished the days I could listen to him. I excitedly bought his books, and I still

my head off about the scene in 1 of his books, I think it was in San Francisco and women wanted access to a gym that was exclusively men, so the men did this, they set-up a room with equipment in it for the women to use, when the women walked in they found a bunch of irons and ironing boards

, and how can we forget his "movie" that he wanted to produce called "Gulf War The Movie" I remember crying from

so hard and wish I could find that tape out there.
Happy Birthday Rush and keep up the good work.
