Generally all of us are combat hardened Hannity vets, each with our own talents and approaches.  I myself have over 23k posts there.

I'm somewhat known for methodical, and often lengthy arguments ("walls") , with lots of supporting reference.  These "walls" led my opponents to pursue a "personal" (ad hom) approach with me. Unfortunately, I make a particularly lousy chew toy and come with spikes and razor-wire of my own.  I can play on their field, but would rather not, as that approach is not my own inclination.   Perhaps as a result of this, the mods have seen fit to give the "Libs" a high degree of latitude regarding TOS with me, sometimes to my displeasure.

What began our migration off of Hannity was, in  some ways, the result of my two-week timeout for addressing another "Guest" there as "Einstein".   The warrant for my "Einstein" address was his accusation that I was offering only my own "opinion", even while quoting my post which referenced the U.S. Supreme Court.  During that timeout, with the help of another "co-conspirator", we began pulling the Best O'the Best from Hannity to an IRC chatroom, so as to better marshal our forces, and discuss the degrading condition of the "field of combat".

What you find among us here are that Best O'the Best.

That "field of combat" worsened more in recent days as a  result of the AZ shooting. You're all aware of the media accusations of "the Right" (inclusive of Palin's tareted political map) having influenced the shooting. Hannity's forum had the policy instituted of "no politicization" of events, which would have been fine, except that some members of the left were given latitude to reference these media claims as if fact, while we were generally silenced. Particular members of the left there have 'untouchable' status because of having met the Mods at get-togethers.

Ah, Nil.

Someone has to screen these fruitloops and ask them the correct questions. I am too busy right now to do much more than bitchslap the dumb ones and check out the boobiez of the day.

1) Do you like peach cobbler?

2) Where are the naked b00biez pictures at?

I had to complete six DOD classes today. It took me three attempts to pass the new Sex Harrassment one. Yeah...there was a ghey question in there.
The dumb ones??  Hey I got one of those bitch slaps!

No worries about the bitchslaps. Bitching about bitchslaps usually results in someone, usually Thor, who hands them out like candy.

As you can see, I've been the recipient of many such bitchslaps and I'm still standing.   :bitchslap:

Sorta.

It is great -- just making sure they are legit!!!!

OMG yes, totally legit. I should've probably sent a note to 1 of the mods when I saw everyone signing up here, but I was so excited to see them that I didn't think of that until after.

As you would expect from any group we vary greatly in personality, humor and style.  To be honest the person among the the Hannity folk I have seen here that I know least is Bally.

I know, that's so weird, I'm mostly in Washington Politics and venture into General Discussion which seems to be the only times I remember seeing you. I think we probably have different interests in WP so we hardly run into each other there.

Which is precisely the reason I've stopped paticipating at any forum where libtards are even tolerated, let alone encouraged to fling poo on the walls. I've become sick and ****ing tired of following rules when said rules are only applied to me. I've had it up to my ass with squishy, gutless alleged conservatives who insist that tolerating the offal of the Loughner Left only demonstrates how much better we are, and I swear to Cecil B. DeMille and Jack L. Warner that I'm going to put a shovel in the face of the next shameless twat who hasn't yet realized that that sort of self-destructive sanctimony can only result in defeat at best, and being made the subject of scorn, at the very least.

And I don't know about you, but I haven't turned the other cheek to being made fun of since I was 8 ****ing years old, and realized I had a pretty badass left cross. Southpaws rock.

If the last four days have taught me anything, it's reminded me that these people, when allowed to gather in numbers greater than one, become little more than viruses with shoes and keyboards, and that celebrity-driven conservative forums are more often than not nothing more than gladiator schools for leftist trolls.

Aside from all of that, welcome all.  :cheersmate:

I don't profess to speak for management, but I'd say with a certain amount of certainty that libs are tolerated here. Differing viewpoints are encouraged and spirited debate happens frequently, as you know. TRG's recent decapitation of Laelth (oh, SHIT!!!! I've used a ****ing VIOLENT WORD!!!!!!eleventy!!!! -- does that mean that I'm a Loughner wannabe?????) in the Fight Club is witness to a very strong exchange. Laelth even complimented the site for being even-handed enough to allow him/her/it to engage at will.

And so it is. Compaqxp is another example of a lib who appears to have withstood the ritualistic black and blue (oh, Keerist, there it is AGAIN!!!!) that goes with being an idiot and being called on it. There are a few more, as well, but they escape me at the moment - Miss Mia, though she hasn't been around in quite a while.

Anyway, I'd say that libs are tolerated here - their procreation may not be encouraged or even tolerated, but they themselves aren't gutted (damn.....) after posting.

I really don't consider either Laelth or compaxqxradsw (whatever the hell his name is) libtards...

They have vastly different points of view, but they're not the frothing, seething, contemptuous, mistaking-irony-for-humor, smug ****sticks we see over on the Island.

If either of them had had the stones to post here what that colossal sociopath Kos tweeted the day of the shooting, I'm pretty certain they would've been banned, and one of you kind admins would've forwarded me their ISP, after which I would've had them living in a cardboard box by day's end.

Well, I guess I'm sorta shielded because I just don't go to the DUmp, or to Skin's Island. Once in awhile I'll hold my nose and peruse the Daily Kos or even stroll down Huffpo Ave., but life's too short to mingle with ****tards - at least deliberately.

Point taken, though.

Yeah I was all Wash Politics over on Hannity. Probably have fewer than 100 posts outside WP, some back channell requests to come over to the Religious Forum or some other General area to explain some point of Quantum Physics or Predestination...

I have read your posts often but since my time in the WP was mostly running about A-Viking on the poor hapless Libbies, (I think that is "Chew Toys" hereabouts) or degaussing with conservative warriors that became friends.  Somehow we did not converse much.

Either way I am pleased that your post apparently let me and other s find this place.

Is there some valid reason to resurrect a thread that's in excess of two years old besides being an attention whore?
