Disappointed in The Daily Show :(
   
I just now saw the repeat of last night's show. I was counting on Jon to be the only voice to tell it like it is. I thought he might show one of his excellent montages of the various talking heads advocating violence. Instead, he made some rambling speech that didn't even make sense - then shows some silly thing about seniors having sex. I am a senior and did not find it funny - but that is a different story.

Haven't seen Colbert yet.

I am lost for words with these DUmmies in the past 3 days. New bonfire. Lets see who shows up.

And how exactly is "it"?  Were you waiting with bated breath for Stewart to blame Palin and/or any Republican?  He can't do it because it simply isn't true.

You're going to have to wake up to reality sometime, DUmmy.  The Republican party had absolutely NOTHING to do with this attempted assasination and the gruesome murders of innocent lives.  Nor did Sarah Palin or anyone on talk radio.  This was simply a left-wing nutbag who believed the government made 9/11 happen and took his delusional frustrations out on the nearest elected official.

I was watching and he said that blaming political rhetoric for this makes as much sense as blaming rock and rap music for violence. 

The DUmmies don't like to hear that.

If the left thinks that this one incident is proof that the right is causing mayhem, can we all agree that the liberal policy of free immigration is responsible for every death due to illegal aliens? There are far more murders, manslaughters, drunk driving deaths, and assaults from illegal aliens. Let's place all of that at the liberals feet....where it can be logically proven.

I guarantee you if he could have provided a montage of many the   violent and over the top remarks that have been pointed out in these last few days coming from Democrats and change the names he would be singing a different tune.   His saying what he did is the best he can do with no real ammunition out there.

Indeed. Take a cue from this, primitives. There is No 'There' There. As more and more information leaks out about this nutbar, the less and less likely you will be able to pin his actions on conservatives. Stewart is smart enough to know this, and has backed out of the conversation.

Things we know:

*7 Likes flag burning.

*8 Found a poem about abortion 'funny' and other bizarre actions- he had scared so many of his classmates, they had the law look into him,and they did nothing about it.

*9 Is interested in backing currency with precious metals -- "The New Currency" - whatever the hell that is..

*10 is described as a 'pot smoking loner'
