I'm not saying Palin isn't an idiot. I'm not saying that the rhetoric of violence doesn't need to be stopped. But we really need to stop the "we don't do this" stuff because Repubs DO remember things, you know.

And I know, these aren't politicians saying it, but we can't just deny this didn't happen or we are just as bad as they are.

I'm ready to be flamed.

Which politician goes around saying that we (the tea party) needs to pick up guns and start shooting people?
Every one that I have heard has condemned violence. Same goes for the "hate radio" people.

1. Not on DU

I did call for the investigation, arrest, trial and imprisonment of the guy -- based on the record.

Based on bullshit that you guys puled out of your ass.
Everyone of you goons would have pulled out your tiny cocks and stroked them to orgasm if anything had of happened to Bush.

You ****wads to this day wish death on a former Vice President. Don't even try to deny it.

2. Some schmuck on a street corner carrying an over the top sign doesn't equate with

mainstream, corporate-sponsored and politician-endorsed hate mongers on the radio and on the tv and on the political trail.

Yet if there some schmuck on the right with an over the top sign, you goons use that as proof that all right wingers are violent. You can't excuse it when your side does it then turn around and blast the other side if they do something similar. I'm man enough to admit that yes there are some nut jobs that call themselves conservatives can you admit that any lefty could ever do wrong? I doubt it highly.

6. 100% true

There isn't an equivalency. Obviously I feel we could use more moderate language around here, but we aren't the equivelant of the hatred spread by Glenn Beck or a Sean Hannity. We don't have their megaphone.

Just look at any thread at DU when a conservative ends up in the hospital or dies. Talk about some hate.
And for the record when our side gets hateful I speak up as well. Hell a lot of you goons were happy that Laura Ingraham had cancer. Elizabeth Edwards even chided you idiots for that. Speaking of her you didn't see a single hateful comment towards her from us when she died. You saw prayers and well wishes for her family here.

Face it DUmmies no one is going to buy this shit that you are pulling out of your asses. The truth always wins in the end. So keep up displaying your hate and bullshit for the world to see.

Personally I'm shocked that they aren't pissing and moaning that he called them democrat.com.

This was one of the first things that went through my mind - the hate that gets spewed at anyone on the Right is absolutely vicious, and this is by the same people who criticize us on the Right for being hateful.

I have listened to Rush for years. I'm new to Hannity but have listened to him a few years ago and catch him every so often, now. In either case, their criticism of the Left is mostly satirical and even comical, sometimes frank and in the manner one would chide an adult who has done something bad (ie, Rush's calling the Dems "sick" for their politicizing of the Arizona shooting), but never have I ever heard mocking of someone's misfortune or fantasies about killing this liberal or that. Contrast that with how the Dems react when you mention Bush or Cheney or Palin, or perhaps Rush's prescription drug incident or Sarah's daughter's pregnancy - then you see what is real, genuine, palpable hatred.

We know this, but of course the Dems don't get it. They think that because a liberal says X, X must be acceptable.
