Then no matter what Palin or anybody says, this will forever be tied to her target poster.

It will be interesting to see what happens to that seat.

Wow! What a classless piece of shit. A nine year old girl is dead, a congresswoman is fighting for her life, a judge is dead and this ass is worried about losing the seat. This right here is all they care about. It would have been even better in their world if she had died. This happened yesterday and they are already talking about who will get her seat and how they can use it against the "other side".  They don't care about her or any of the other victims, all they care about is how they can use the tragic event for their political advantage. DU as a whole is subhuman.

As I have said before about Scott Brown, Ill take a moderate I agree with 70% of the time over a liberal I agree with 0% of the time any day of the week. And in Massachusetts, Brown is as good as it gets.

Giffords' seat almost went Republican last November.  As one of the voters who cast a ballot for Jesse Kelly, let me say here that I hope to hell Giffords recovers fully and in time to represent the 8th AZ District for the remainder of her 2-year term.  Then, I hope she runs again and is defeated by the Republican candidate.  Unlike what some on the rabid Left profess, no sane decent person wants to defeat an opponent by taking them out.  Any person who resorts to murder for any reason short of self defense or in war (where self defense goes without saying) is a criminal, and in this guy's case, a terrorist as well.  It would behoove those trying to make political hay out of this tragedy to step back and examine their consciences.

They never gave a crap about it at all. From the minute the first thread hit the page over there yesterday, the only thing they thought about was, "Who can we blame?" The judge and the little girl got a passing mention and it was like the other dead and wounded didn't even exist. Pure, soulless politics.

Congress in recent years has a pretty solid record of nobody leaving until they're carried out, regardless of strokes, senile dementia, or any other normally-disabling events.  I wouldn't bet on her vacating the seat.
