You are probably wondering why I haven't been posting much of late.
I have, in fact, run out of things to say.
In an ever expanding Universe that keeps creating more and more stuff as well as more and more space to put all the more and more stuff? Unpossible!
Exactly, just when I think I have nothing to say...... I open a thread and say nothing in 3 pages.
If you just make it your goal in life to always have the last word, why, there's no end to the things you could come up with to say.
Look at Shakespeare! Scientists for decades have been trying to get an infinite number of chimps randomly typing to come up with his stuff but he made it his goal in life to come up with his stuff on his own and he never even used a single monkey! Not even a Sea Monkey(TM).
And even more incredible, even though he wrote that famous, famous line "Brevity is the soul of wit" in order to get to that line, he had to use a lot of words and be anything but brief. And he continued not being brief for a long time after that.
So, if you want English scholars to be quoting from the Complete Works of Schadenfreude in the far off future, you have to keep coming up with things to say.
Also, if you can't think of things to say, quote someone else. Quoting someone else not only makes others recognize your obvious intelligence, it also saves on original thinking so you can save that thinking up, conserve it, and then use it later to come up with more stuff to say. As my favorite writer, Philip K. Dick once observed:
The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words.
This is why I only ever use my own definitions of words and none of them, not a one, is peer reviewed. Because I am without peer. But I digress, but only by way of example.
