I understand.  I know her name is Christina.  I was just shocked that a grieving mother could talk to national news media right now.  The video was on for about a minute and I could hear the tears.  It was just too hard and I decided to pass on watching it for now. 

Any mother would want their child referred to their actual name, not just their age and gender.  It's just so sad.  :bawl:

One of my Facebook friends is a group called "Border Narcotics Intelligence". (They do AZ border drug interdiction and illegal aliens reporting) I messaged BNI this morning saying how thoughtless and classless the Pima Co. Sheriff was. They replied that none of their group is too pleased with him.

I have a mixture of sadness, and extreme anger in the pit of my stomach.

I was heartbroken hearing the phone interview Gretchen Carlson gave with the mom. She was broken up as well.

That Sheriff Dupnik has blood on his hands in my opinion.  If he knew Ms Giffords has had death threats against her then why didn't he do his job and protect the public?  Instead he has to spin this in the most unprofessional way possible.  He should be run out of town on a rail.  Asshole.
