I would have been better off with chewing gum between my knees....

Now you've got the first line of the first verse!

(HNC, help me out here!)
"Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of Liberty." - Thomas Jefferson

"All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk!" -Ayn Rand

"Those that trust God with their safety must yet use proper means for their safety, otherwise they tempt Him, and do not trust Him.  God will provide, but so must we also." - Matthew Henry, Commentary on 2 Chronicles 32, from Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible

"These anti-gun fools are more dangerous to liberty than street criminals or foreign spies."--Theodore Haas, Dachau Survivor

Chase her.
Chase her even when she's yours.
That's the only way you'll be assured to never lose her.

No, the first line would be ...I never should have married him.

Good point. Then the line about keeping your knees stuck together with gum fits better.  :-)

Chain with padlock?

Serious for a moment. No I did not plan my pregnancy, in fact I celebrated each of the three times I had another negative pregnancy test(had 3 negatives with my second too.  :???: )! It took a physical exam to determine that I was pregnant. I burst into tears in the doctor's office when he said ...'yep, you're pregnant!' For several reasons - among others I had just gone out and bought living room furniture and primarily because I was just not ready to be a mother, even though I was 25.

I cried for the next 8 months, I think mostly out of fear, and very little family support. Once she was born, I was so excited to be a mom. The fear was so much worse than the reality.

Begk, a question here.  Why does everyone put it on the woman to prevent pregnancy.    Men can get sniped in such a way as to have it reversed if they wish.    Woman can seldom reverse the process---

According to the doctor who "sniped" me this is bad advice.  Assume that a vasectomy is irreversible.

Remember; storks may bring babies, but -- well, -- I'll skip that old joke...

My ex is a urologist. Reversing vasectomies have a better results the sooner the reversal takes place as scar tissue can form and prevent a successful reversal. It also depends on how the vasectomy was done as to whether or not it can be reversed, as there are a couple of different ways of doing them. Having one does not prevent men from continuing to produce sperm. Also have to make sure after the procedure that there are no stray swimmers and that the procedure worked. Ex had a patient who didn't come back for 2nd recheck after the first showed he still had swimmers. He came back after the wife got pregnant. :o He was not only a lawyer but someone we went to church with and knew well. Fortunatley - for everyone - he still had swimmers.

As "Toots" was, and I repeat, was, a little on the petite side, after we had our second, the Doc was in there anyway and we had her tubes tied. She had a history of, er, female problems, we were blessed to have two kids, a boy and a girl. As we were very young, I didn't see how we could afford any more than that anyway!

Gotta tell ya, now, I wish we would have had two more, just for the opportunity to out reproduce the asshats who hate America and are infecting our civilization!

My kids are hardcore red blooded patriots! Hell, my granddaughter shot her first deer last year at the ripe old age of 13! Papa has never been more proud of his "Stinker"!

OMG, Allo, your Toots and I share the EXACT same experience.  WERE on the petite side, female problems during both pregnancies and got our tubes tied (doc actually said he burned my ends so they couldn't grow again) and we had a girl and a boy.

Given how our country is being overrun with illegals and liberals I find myself wishing we'd continued to breed until my uterus collapsed. :p

The year I spent in Korea was enough to make me appreciate the life we have here. The poor people there are dirt poor. The poor people here have cell phones and big screen TVs.

When were you stationed in Korea? Korea was very poor back than until the 1970s when it started to grow.

And as is typical, the primitives frame the viewpoint from an improper prespective.

People used to have a high enough standard of themselves that to accept charity would only be a last resort.

And that right there is the problem. It should hurt to be poor... hurt enough that you do not want to be poor anymore. I've been poor and I didn't like it. So I got an education, worked shit jobs while getting that education and did those shit jobs better than anyone else, and guess what? I ain't poor no more. I ain't rich or even upper middle class, but I got enough. I got a roof over my head, a car that runs, food, and I still have enough at the end of the month to save for retirement. What I don't have is a cell phone, a big screen TV, steaks in the fridge, or expensive clothes.

The welfare folks that stand in the line at the grocery store with steaks and such, talking on their nice expensive cell phone, wearing bling and tattoos, with their 6 dirty little kids, driving cars that I know they shouldn't be able to afford if they were they poor just piss me off.

Thats a fact. I fall into that catagorie. I keep my head above water by burning wood for heat, gardening, hunting and raising chickens and rabbits for food. Then when I get a chance to work 20-30 hrs over time they tax the shit out of me! I have people in my family who are on disability and welfare because they have a drug addiction!!!! They sit on their ass all day smoking crack and have newer cars, bigger TVs and iphones. I have a 2000 ranger and a 32" TV and no cell phone! Not saying I want what they got I just wish when I work so much overtime I would get to keep what I earn!
And I bet it didn't take them any time to get on disability....

I just talked to my  attorney and was told I'd prolly have another year to wait...I swear if I could find something I could do while I'm on morphine............It's just fustrating
