Apparently DADT won't destroy the military fast enough.  Hard to believe Granby Street ever existed, but then those were the days of Iron men in Wooden ships not ironing men wearing slips.    :gay: 

(btw I use to know a carrier nuc operator who had no problem expressing herself when irritated with very salty language)

Apparently what we have is some disgruntled Sailor, leaking to the news something from the Ship's CCTV. I'm in agreement with Sparky and the rest of y'all. Sailors who use profanities ?!?!?!? OMFG, the Earth is going to end!!  ::)

This has to be the best recruiting video for life at sea for months on end that I have yet to see.

The XO now the Captain should be comended for the film and raising the moral of what 6,000 men and woman away from home in harms way.

BTW why was this released at this time, this is old news, is there something behind this release date.??

I watched the video yesterday on my main computer but I am not quite sure where I linked to it from and at the moment I cannot check because that computer went Tango Umbrella on shut down last night.  {Most likely it was a MOBO fault, it has been getting ancey booting  up for some time now.} 

Anyway, I immediately liked Honor.  Lets face facts, being an XO is no picnic. I am sure he was loved by his command as XO, unlike some I've known.  This whole thing is just a bunch of PC crap. Amazing the things which could be solved with a blanket party in the old days.  I know, not very PC. :hammer:

This is totally ridiculous.  At the same time, as a Navy Captain, he probably ought to have had a clue that this could come back to haunt him in our bullshit PC environment where combat and killing has been reduced to a made-up word like 'warfighting' and touchy-feely goodness with radical advocacy groups in domestic society is more important to DoD than actually achieving anything of military significance in combat operations.

Yeah, I was wondering about that myself. As XO, one of his principal "duties" seems to have been that of "morale and welfare" officer and putting together those tapes - not just once, but several times - had to have crossed his mind as being questionable in terms of content.

I say that because Capt. Honors took great pains to mention multiple times that the ship's captain and admiral "had no knowledge of" the contents of the various tapes.

PC bullshit over and over and over again, thanks to the main stream media.  :whatever:

The military is rife with examples of good people who are thrown under the PC bus, all because somebody outside the situation became "offended".
