On global weather change

Yep, snow storms and we have the usual, it is not real. Well more dramatic weather events are part of it. That includes the dramatic floods in Australia, the blizzards this year, in both north America and Europe. Oh and of course twisters this week.

But you will hear it again...no, it is a lib'rul plot. Well Collapse by Jerrard Diamond should be required readying...that is where we are going. And partly the current denial/end of the world rapture crowd will be one of the reasons. These ****ers don't care by the way, they just don't and they also believe that it will not affect them... Well, guess what...it already is.

Well 20+ years ago we were told the oceans would be dead by the year 2000.
It's now 2010 and every ocean is still full of life.
Then you wonder why we don't believe you.

1. As I Said before... Global Warming Deniers deserve to be Marginalized

this issue is not to be ****ed with... our survival will depend on how seriously we take this issue. We know their motives... there is no more debate.

So what do you plan on doing to reduce your carbon footprint?
I thought so just sit on DU at your computer that is powered by a coal burning plant.

4. True science encourages debate

Dogma, on the other hand, does not. Saying "There is no more debate" sounds much more like the latter than the former. Give me three predictions for the year 2015 based on man-made global warming theory. Please be specific, e.g. rather than saying "sea levels will continue to rise", predict by how much we should expect sea levels to rise. Rather than saying "temperatures will be warmer", predict the actual amount by which global temperatures will increase. Then, when 2015 arrives we can see whether the global warming science is accurate.

Ouch reason at DUmmyland.

5. sorry, but the science is there already

there is no more debate. Global warming is real and it's mainly caused by man. The science is already there.

At one time the scientists said bleeding people and leeches were top medical care.

2. The deniers are too stupid to realize that while it's winter in the Northern

Hemisphere, it's summer in the Southern Hemisphere. Extreme winter storms in the north this year while the southern hemisphere has floods and heat waves. But then again, they think climate is looking out their window to see what the weather is like now.

OMG snow in the winter and heat waves in the summer. If that doesn't prove global warming then nothing will.

If global warming is man made and causing all this change how are the changes in the past explained?
Were there too many cows then all farting? Maybe dinosaur farts is what changed the climate and killed them all.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

My best memory of environmental wacko-ism is of fishing Lake Erie in the 1970s, at the same time that Newsweek and Time were running cover stories about the "dead lake". That was before the scourge of walleyes, but the fishing for white bass, smallmouth, and yellow perch was incredible. It isn't possible that anyplace in North America could have been better than the dead depths of Lake Erie.

At about that time, there was a environmental wacko panic over the infinitesimal mercury content of fish from Lake Erie. That lasted until a Lake Erie fish from a Buffalo museum, preserved since 1901, was analyzed and found to have the same nearly immeasurably low mercury content as current samples. The environmental panic was quietly abandoned by the wackos.

I haz the DUmmie solution to SUV polution: We drive them in reverse half the time.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

I think the 1st Earth Day came about because they were predicting an ice age by 1980, when that didn't happen all of a sudden the charlatans started talking about Globull Warming. How hard is it to understand that weather goes in cycles and if anything the fact that the weather has basically stayed the same for 10,000 years is amazing, but alas the arrogant left needs something to yap about and to further regulate behavior.

Earth Day started decades before the radical left dreamed up the global warming scam.

There's some snow moving into Las Vegas, is that because of global warming too?  It's awfully "cold" here today.  It says 40 degrees, but it feels a bit chillier than that.

Our forecast also calls for global warming, I mean rain/snow, tonight and tomorrow too.

You've got to love it when they panic over a weather system that is "almost as bad as 195x" or "beats every record since the one set in 193x."  When you talk about 100 year floods, then you have to understand that those floods happened in the past, and will happen in the future.   The history in the Bible makes the cycles of flood and drought very clear...and for thousands of years, not decades.

I can't forget one DUmp thread from a year or two ago, talking about the terrible ice storms that "never used to hit this part of the country."  What I really enjoyed about that thread was looking at my grandmother's pictures of the terrible ice storm when she was a teenager...in that part of the country...something like 85 years ago.  But they "never used to hit here!!!"   :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

Earth Day started decades before the radical left dreamed up the global warming scam.

I know, I think Earth Day started because they were predicting another ice age, when that didn't come about they needed to look around for something else and they settled on Globull Warming.

"On global weather change" -- way to lower the bar there kiddies..

First it was 'global warming' - and when that didn't pan out it became 'climate change' -- but climate indicates long-term trends, so now its 'weather change' ? Which I suppose indicates any day that isn't approximately the same as the day before is an indication of the coming demise of humanity, and earth itself,  right ?

Know-It-All nadin is the DUmp's Jim Cantore these days. Ever since she was mocked so beautifully by Rev. Henrickson in the Funnies, her smug, all-knowing warnings about the imminent apocalyptic collapse of American civilization have been strangely missing. Now she announces every storm front, and warns her fellow DUmmies to take cover, as if that lends credence to the DUmp's beloved global warming scam.

There is far more blind faith in AGW than in an omnipotent being.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

My son drove back to Pendleton yesterday. The grapevine was closed because of snow (evidently it still is) so he took 58 down past Edwards AFB before heading west. An around about way but he thought he was sure to avoid any really bad winter weather because it practically passes through the fricken Mojave Desert. It was snowing heavily. In the desert. Must be Global warming/climate change/chaos or whatever phrase they're using now to fit their "settled science" meme.

I just realized the title of this thread, for some reason I thought it said globull warming but just noticed that nadin called it globull weather change, how many words have the kook movement now used to discuss a non-existent issue?
