Inmates housed at Tent City in southwest Phoenix are facing a freezing cold night.

Lows could fall to the mid-20s overnight.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office says inmates housed outside will be provided extra blankets.

In addition inmates will be issued pink thermal underwear to counteract the winter chill.

Sheriff Joe is always making sure the inmates are in high fashion.  ;)

I saw a beautiful picture of some of the mountains covered in snow in the Phoenix area on Jan Brewer's Facebook.  My first year in Phoenix had some snow on the mountains too.  It was just beautiful.

I'm sure the ACLU and some of the inmates will complain. But I'm also sure that there are tens of thousands of people in the 3rd world who'd give an eye tooth for those thermals on a cold night.

I doubt that any of them would suffer serious harm. They are getting better them alot of troops get during an FTX.
