Playboy mansion? More like a squalid prison: Former Playmates tell of 'grubby' world inside Hugh Hefner's empire
Quote
One by one they have revealed what life was like behind the glittering façade of the Playboy Mansion. According to them, it disguises a grubby world where some girls feel they are no better than prostitutes, paid pocket money by an octogenarian obsessive who funds plastic surgery to turn them into his physical ideal, and yet must still take huge amounts of Viagra to manage sex with them.
I read someplace he is about to lose the Playboy Mansion to Penthouse owners.

"...yet must still take huge amounts of Viagra to manage sex..."

You know, if he keeps that up, he might go blind.

I read that he's about to marry one of his whores. Some 24 year old bimbo. He's 84. Talk about sick.

Meh, screw it--you know her life is pretty much a waste when her goal is to become the next Anna Nicole Smith.

Who buys Playboy anymore?  As far as porn goes, it's a bore and compared to pop culture magazines, it's sub-par.  I'm surprised it hasn't folded by now.

I just finished reading the article ( :lmao: )....and am amazed that these women expected something different.

They are paid $1000 a week to live in the mansion....and do Hef's bidding. Well, damn....what did they think they were getting paid for? They are nothing more than "legal" prostitutes. I know that sounds harsh, but it's true.

The guy's 84 years old, needs Viagra to get it up and use it (won't most men need Viagra at that age?)...and any woman, who's 60 years younger than he is and willingly wants to have sex with him, is not so stupid to not realize that she's having to put out to get the money!

I'm less than 30 years younger than him, and he doesn't have enough money - and will never have enough money - to get me naked with him! The idea is disgustingly gross!  :puke:

I have known women, over the last 20 years, who have been with guys - some even have married them - that were 30 or more years older than the woman. The woman is usually quite attractive, big boobs, usually doesn't have children, or if she does..she was quite young when she had the child, so the kid's a teenager when the mother's in her early 30's. The guy may or may not be attractive...but the he ALWAYS has a lot of money. Sleeping with a guy 25-30 years older than myself would just be creepy - too much a "father substitute" for me.

Hef's "discards" were there for specific reasons. They wanted the money, the lifestyle they thought would be glamorous, and to use it as a stepping stone for something else in life. They knew going into the mansion that in order to get what they wanted - the price was to sleep with Hef and follow the rules. If they felt humiliated...too bad. They should have thought about the real price of living in the Mansion, before they ever went through the front door.

It's a choice they made, I feel nothing for them.  Which isn't to say I wouldn't feel them.

I don't see how anyone could be shocked about this. If anyone had spent anytime looking into what Hef is about and the whole image he put out and all the stories about him since the days he "dated" Barbi Benton, then you would know this was the deal. As for the place being a squalid prison  then from what i read in the article then it maybe true but then again with all those animals running lose who could keep up with it. Way back in the 60's or 70's Hef had to get a zoo licenece so they could keep all the animals on the property.

This was a gig that brought in $52,000 a year with all expenses paid.

All medical expenses including body modifying expenses, dentists etc.

Publicity one can only dream of for woman wanting to break into show business.

Access to rich and powerful men that may want to marry them or open the door to Hollywood for them.

I believe the woman had 2 days and nights off to do as they wish, 5 days a week there was a curfew of 9: PM.--for their security perhaps.??

They flew all over the world on the Bunny private Jet, ate at the best restaurants where ever they went and spent their nights at all 5 star hotels.  Anywhere they went anywhere was in a stretch Limo.

Their job requirements were to take a bath and jump into bed with an old geezer every week or two. Do publicity shots with the Geezer and conduct themselves properly in public, pose for photo shoots with famous men.

Now these woman who have, from the job, met the people they want to and gained fame and lots of money are COMPLAINING about the job????

Give me a job where I am allowed to keep my pets--unhouse broken in a mansion with all those Job Perks.

My Goodness the woman who had private rooms had to turn in receipt for the cost to redecorate their private space with full bath.

Dog shit in the halls and having to wear Pink PJ's.

OH the Horror, at 18-21 this is such a awful life , they think they would have been better off waiting tables, having to put out for some sleazy casting agent.??------Living with 6-7 other people trying to break into the Big Time, counting their nickles and dimes to afford make up or new shoes??

Don"t you thing that most would end up in the Gutter after a year or so ???

Truth now, if any of you had a daughter you cannot control and runs away to become a movie star ----What would feel better with, never knowing what happened to her, or know she is is not a Crank Whore with a stable of woman who is being beaten with a wire coat hanger by a Pimp that makes them turn 20 tricks 24/7 and takes 80% of their earnings.

Darn if your daughter is going to become a hooker or a book keeper, she needs to grab any opportunity to be the very best at what she chooses.

Hef. has taken many a young girl and precluded them from  a very bad life.    These woman should be grateful to him, his so called slavery of these woman that were free to go at any time and have great carears now should be thanking him, not Bitching about that horrid life they agreed to live in.

When I was reading the article, though I thought about the dirty sheets and and floors and gagged a bit, I didn't think about what they would look like under one of those light wands.  :puke:

Thanks so much, ONC, for putting that image into my head so early in the morning!  :hammer:

How do you know that. Looks like Anna Nicole Smith did not make the cut of a very good life. Another one was shot by her jealous husband. Anyone that give women drugs is a piece of shit. Plus, some people have morals and standards. Looks like you do not.

Anna was an adult and made her own choices after she quit Bunny Land.   Say Lacarnut, who is the President of France married to.??

Two bunnies were murdered by their jealous husbands. The mansion did not work out too well for them did it? Carla has talent other than spreading her legs like Playboy bunnies. She is a songwriter and actress. So your comparison is rather lame. Yep, she did pose nude but is that all you have got.

I think the "point" is that these women go into the Playboy mansion lifestyle of their own free will. No one is forcing them to stay there.

No matter how you want to define it, they are still prostituting themselves.

The difference between the Playboy mansion "girls" and the hooker on the corner is that the PMG's aren't getting the crap beat out of them by a pimp or doing any Tom, Dick or Harry, that approaches them on the corner and may or may not beat the crap out of them "just for shits and giggles" or murder them because he can. Hooker on the corner isn't going to be living in a mansion, clean or dirty, and not getting good - and free - health care.

Given an opportunity, the hooker on the corner would probably beg for a chance to be in the Playboy mansion. Their potential johns aren't going to want to tarnish their own reputations by hurting a PMG, they know that they will be treated reasonably well, wear nice (relative term) clothes, go to "fabulous" places, ride in a limo, fly in a private jet.

The primary difference between  becoming a PMG and the hooker on the corner is opportunity. The PMG got the option, the hooker didn't/hasn't.
