Who Knows...On Monday I May Be Unemployed

....Yesterday I was sitting next to the Flat Screen that we have outside media outlets being streamed through.....Due to the fact we have had some snow here in Seattle we had the flat screen on a local network when all the sudden Nancy Grace appeared in an hour long feature with her as a host.....

Well.....a few of my co-workers asked me to turn it to another channel cause they hate hearing Graces drawlly voice, so I turned it to CNN.

Well anyhow my big boss said he feels the same way about Sarah Palins when she speaks and then he followed up by saying but I agree with her polices and program....I BIT MY TOUNGE HARD but my tounge lost and I said "What policies and programs of hers do you agree with"....what solutions do you agree that she has that will get the country back on the right track for all...... He became very quiet and my mouth had to say the following...." I guess your silence is evidence that she has nothing to offer".....ten minutes later after a period of quiet on his part he grabbed his coat turned of his desk light and wished everyone a Happy New Year and left for the rest of the week...

All's my fellow coworkers could say in effect was DUDE!!!

Not everyone can walk in drunk I guess. :lmao:

10. If he even intimidates you at work, hire a civil rights lawyer and sue immediately.

Any attempt to get even with you is illegal. Maybe his silence meant he realized he made ignorant comments praising Palin.

I can see that you haven't been in the working world very long. See below.

15. I've found that the worst

thing an employee can do is make their boss feel stupid.

And this one:

4. What really bothers me?

Is that you even have to worry about retaliation from your boss for speaking your views, or, simply asking him to clarify his.

You won't be fired on Monday.....Having observed current corporate America, I know how this plays out. Soon your work will be substandard and they will put you on a "performance improvement plan" which you will never be able to achieve and eventually you will be terminated.

I hope I'm wrong about this one.

Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

Maybe the DUmmy has learned that if this bouncy situation should ever arise in real life, he should just bite his "tounge" a little harder.

"Hire a civil rights attorney and sue immediately."  Now, that there's some good advice, rsmith.

(I'd love to see the attorney-client meeting where he lays all this out).  Rsmith was on my nomination list for his jaw-dropping stupid bouncies, which portrayed himself as a blustery, belligerent asshole.  If the stories were true, he would have turned off everybody he ever met from the democrat party.

14. Document work goals and timelines. Get the manager's signature and
date of the signature on every document. Hammer his ass if he attempts to violate even the slightest of your work rules. While some executives in corporations will attempt to intimidate, wiser heads won't allow a political difference to seriously damage the company's reputation. Be prepared to defend yourself and make it clear to the manager that you will pull the trigger.

You idiots need to note that when you feel like you want to intimidate someone, you better be on the higher rung.

13. I work with a particularly foolish republican

He and I had a mild political discussion where I disagreed with him. Eight months later he still acts very knee jerk and resentful around me.

Republicans have a very fragile worldview and they cannot handle someone stating otherwise. If you disagree with them on anything political they, 'hate,' you.

Ummm isn't it the left that is desperately trying to shut down Rush, Beck, Hannity, and Faux Snooze?
How often does any conservative say Ed Shultz and Rachel Madcow should be thrown off the air?
That's right no conservative that I know has ever said those assclowns should be silenced. In fact we encourage them to speak to shine the light on just how crazy the left is.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

As a fun little segway into this whole thread, my boss had one of those too poor to vote repub stickers on his billboard. So what? Bite yer tongue and move on. I learned long ago not to upstage the boss on these matters, especially in a group of people where you end up looking insubordinate, especially if you are on work time and in that same group or at a work related function. There's good reason not to socialize with superiors outside of the workplace because of these types of situations.

And btw some of us 'old folks' don't really care if we have younger bosses. When we've spent 12 years of value raising the next generation of adults, well it's a wash, trust me.  Some peeps chose to put their own professional well-being aside to dedicate time to their families. Trust me, had some of us stayed in, some of you younger whipper snappers would still be burger flippers.  :-)

Says the person that posts at a site where you're automatically banned if you are a repub OR if you don't toe the party line AND that doesn't even allow you to mention certain conservative websites AND hates everyone except dictators, baby killers, convicts, perverts, terrorists, illegal aliens, communists, socialists and drug dealers.

Yeah, you pull that "work to rule" bullshit and see how fast it comes back to bite ya in the ass, tards.  It doesn't matter how well you THINK you know the rules, there's a lot more folks in management who know the rules a lot better than you, and even if you're in a union, there's going to come a point where they'll kick you to the curb as well for being such a PITA.

Here's my non-bouncy:

Yesterday I was at the convenience store down the street waiting in line behind a man.  When his transaction was done, the cashier told him to have a Happy New Year.  The customer said very loudly that with the new year, that means we are just one year closer until Obama is out of office.  As he turned around to leave, I gave him a high five.  It actually made my day.

The call center I worked in had HLN on 24/7.  It was awful.  Between Joy Behar, Jane Velez Mitchell, and the same seven stories repeated every 20 minutes, it was intolerable.  But it was mostly the repeating headlines that drove me crazy.  It was like watching CNN for people too stupid to understand CNN.

You know, the very first place I would go to for labor relations advice would be the DUmp.  I like to go with proven experienced success in field to get help with tough situations.

I have a very strong feeling that the DUchebag is not one of the top performers and has already has a few tickets to the Unemployment office in it's jacket.  This incident was probably just the straw that broke the camel's back.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
