Santa's going to pay for my end of year realty dues..... :yahoo:

They are almost $900 and due by the 31st and I don't have the money this year.  :bawl: If they aren't paid on time, the penalties will be several hundred $'s more. Whoever decided all this crap needs to be paid in December should be shot!!! We still have to pay almost another $400 in July for MLS membership fees.  :censored:

I got my mini-laptop a mini cordless mouse and a carrying case, a silver bracelet with pink stones and the word Love throughout, a handbag, scarf and gloves, and 1 of those hand soap machines that's battery operated. Hubby got an XBox 360, 2 games, sneakers, NJ Jets earmuffs and Bruce Springsteen's The Promise: The Darkness On The Edge Of Town Story (3 CD/3 DVD), the stocking stuffers were lottery tickets, hubby won $40 and I won $12, and with the Christmas money we get hubby is going to buy some X-Box games and I'm going to get a Kindle!

Hope everyone has an awesome Christmas!

1) the Jets suck (toes that is);

2)  I bought my husband the Nook color and it is fantastic -- just like an iPad.

Not that much for Xmas, but as the kids are struggling to buy for their own --

What we gave for Xmas was not that great either,  I just buy for my adult kids and mother's kids are up to their parents and they get plenty.

We got all the woman in the family a purse and wallet, 2 males a wrist watch  and for my oldest son  duel grinding wheel that he can use.  Hubby bought this tool a month ago and found it was way too much for him to ever use so we gave it to our boy that was very happy to get it.

I do not give to grand kids unless they out due themselves then I will.     Mean old me did not buy for but one grandchild or any of their children's.   I bought for MY Children and my Mother.

The adult parents are forgotten in the holidays, sent a box of cookies or a tube of lipstick, the kids get so much that they begin to think they are intitiled to all this stuff that they could care less about.

Sad but I am now thinking about what my Hubby got for Xmas-----seems everyone forgot him,  as a step father and in control of my health and care for me, He did not not get one persent from the family that he cares for.   Not one personal present to Him, himself.

Diamond earrings and necklace, books, art supplies, carved gemstone critters, fancy picture frames, more books :yahoo: two bookcases and bookstore gift cards.
I collect antique quilts and my mother-in-law has always given me one for Christmas. I'm always eager to see what she picked, the pattern, the history. She passed away unexpectedly last month. Between that and all my grandkids moving to Utah, I'm not my usual "Mrs. Claus" self. My youngest son really caught me off guard with a lovely Carolina Poinsettia quilt. Little bugger.

I went to Staples hoping they'd have the $139 Kindle in stock, the guy said they get deliveries twice a week and as soon as it comes in people buy them up and there wasn't 1 available within 20 miles, also called Target to see if they had any in stock, they said no, so I decided to just order it from Amazon.

I was going to get the Nook formerlurker but decided to go with the Kindle.

Holy crap, did I score!!!!!

Sony PSP with carrying case, Madden 11 and a few other PSP games
NHL 11, Call of Duty World at War and Black Ops for the Wii (including a Wii Zapper for the shooter games)
Autographed snare drumhead from Danny Carey of Tool (one of my faves)
UCLA sweatshirt, shorts and T-shirt
Some really cool books (including Decision Points and a really cool retrospective on To Kill A Mockingbird)
Despicable Me and Toy Story 3 on Blu-Ray

and the granddaddy of them all...Nerf N-Strike Stampede, fully automatic, with 3 extended 18-round clips

This friggin thing ROCKS, but I have no idea how the hell I'm gonna be able to get it back to LA without shipping it first.  :banghead:

And by the way, snow REALLY sucks. I love Chicago, but I have no idea how people can do this every damn year.  :-)

I own all of the seasons.  I am a total fanatic of The Office.  And I'll be super sad at the end of the current season since this is Steve Carell's last season.

I've had Christmas all year long what with the tuba I bought in May and a gig bag for it that I bought in Sept.

Made a tidy sum by playing a church gig (not mine) on Christmas Eve with which I'm gonna buy a Marlin 336 in .30/.30.

Mrs. E got me the FSP game "Medal of Honor" which won't run on my computer.  :lmao: Thor and I are working around that little problem....

I've been trying to restore an old European car for years but parts cost a fortune since you have to ship them from Europe and finding one for parts is rare around here. Well someone found me one, bought it for 200$ from an old guy and had it in the driveway yesterday. I was thrilled.

Apart from that I got almost nothing.

My parents gave me a kindle and a St. Bridget's Cross necklace (St. Bridget is my patron saint  :-))  My grandparents gave my mom money, which she gave to me, which I used to buy some make-up, a wool coat, and some nice tea for my mom to wrap so that I could open them at my grandparents house  :rotf:  Lots of little gifts as well from other family members and friends.  I made out pretty well  :-)

I bought my little cousins (5 and 7) an adjustable height basketball hoop, a basketball, and a football.  Somehow, that got beat out for the coolest gift title by Bakugan's  :p  I bet they'll use my gift for longer though.  Their dad thought the sports stuff was great.

That is possibly the first interesting thing you've contributed since you've been here.  What kind of car is it?

I got a record player!!!  (yes I know what year it is  :lmao: )

My son gave me 6 bags of tulip bulbs -- I tried to give him a big kiss to thank him but he runs much faster than I can  :-)! Hopefully I can keep them fresh until planting them this spring; probably store 'em in the basement.
