Deb, lemme get this straight. You ASKED for a "beautiful toilet brush holder?" Are you serious? And yeah, you're right, I wasn't there......not sure I would've wanted to be there while you asked for "a beautiful toilet brush holder".
I guess when you get right down to it, I'm perfectly fine with plain jane, ordinary, shitter brush holders.

First of all....I did not ASK for a toilet bowl brush holder! (say that 5x's fast ..

)
I have been looking for nice bathroom stuff for the powder room that guests use, because I moved the stuff from the powder room at the old house to the hall bath on the 2nd flr cause it went well with a really nice shower curtain that Runnin' Buddy had bought, and decided not to use anymore.
That left me with trying to find "nice" replacement stuff for the powder room.
Being a guy, I'm sure that you don't know how ridiculously expensive that stuff is!! Wastebaskets are somewhere far up from $35, which is just stupid for a bathroom waste basket...in my opinion. I have yet to figure out what the deal is with the wastebaskets being so expensive.
I have lots of blue and white pottery stuff. Some is reallly good stuff and some is really inexpensive - especially after it hits Ross or Marshall's and gets sent to the clearance shelves.

I mix it all together. I decided to take the extra soap dish and the kleenex box cover, that I had in old kitchen and use them in the powder room. Recycling so to speak. I needed a waste basket, so I took a big wide-mouthed flower vase/planter that was in the old family room and use it as the waste basket. It still had the price sticker on the bottom - I had gotten it for $5. See the patttern here?
I needed a TBBH, because the floors are hardwood in there, and carrying a nasty TBB from powder room to garage is just yuckky gross. A week or so ago, RB and I were at Ross's and I said if I could find another vase with a wide mouth that was tall enough, I could stick the TBB in it. She looked at me like I was nuts until I told her that since it's pottery, I could just pour bleach in it to clear out the nasty germies. Then she decided it kind of made sense.
She was in Home Goods last week, and saw one that she thought would work. So that's what I got for my birthday!! I was pretty excited about it!
Her husband and M thought I was crazy. My darling son asked her if it was for my ashes, 'cause I wasn't THAT old!

My son-in-law rolled his eyes. My daughter and T's friend thought it was a pretty creative idea. And RB was quite pleased with herself in surprising me with something that I had casually mentioned looking for....unless it's in an email or texted to her, she has a retention issue...I tell her it's cause she's blonde.

Now all I have to do is find a rug for in there to help muffle the sound effects. Don't know why builders either make powder rooms so small that your knees are hitting the door, or the room's big enough for a dance.

Between the size of the room, the 9foot ceiling and hardwood flrs, it's like a damn echo chamber.

I would have preferred all the extra space in my pantry.
