What Happens When Liberals Hold A Memorial Ceremony

I knew Liberals were nothing but pure politics thru and thru...but today it was confirmed for me.

I was the announcer at a ceremony to honor the 40th Anniversary of the assassination of Dr. martin Luther King.

Pelosi, Reid, John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, John Lewis, James Clyburn, Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick (mother of Kwame Kilpatrick) and Martin Luther King III all spoke at a ceremony in Statuary Hall.

This was SUPPOSED to be a ceremony to honor a great man...instead I felt like I was at a Democrat Political rally.

EVERYONE of the speakers except for Lewis, Boehner and McConnell used the ceremony as an opportunity to talk about Universal Healthcare...a “living wage” and to rant about bringing the troops home from Iraq...all in the name of Dr. King and his “dream”.

The first time any of the disgusting Libs in the crowd...Jackson-Lee, Kennedy...Leahy, Rangel and the rest of the rotten bunch of Liberals was when Cheeks-Kilpatrick talked about “ending the war in Iraq and bringing the troops home”.

This was all done with about 20 soldiers in uniform (including myself) in attendance.

I was disgusted beyond description that these Socialist Libs would take the opportunity of honoring this great man to make basically a stump speech.

I’m beyond angry too. There are regulations in the UCMJ...as you are well aware that restrict members of the armed services from being at political rallies when in uniform.

That’s what we ended up being at today against our will.

I can't remember, which memorial service for a recently deceased cabinet member was it that Clinton was filmed laughing and joking with a companion, and upon noticing a television camera, immediatley turned on his "somber face?"  Someone help me out here...  :banghead:
