I've been baking/candy making all day.
My daughter was over last week and we did peppermint bark, peanut butter cups, cookies and creme truffles, chocolate coated almond toffee. Saturday I made magic bars. Today I did 3 batches of party mix, chocolate dipped pretzel rods w Christmas sprinkles, oatmeal-mini choc chip-cherry cookies. Still doing mini brownie cupcakes w caramel Hershey kisses in them and turtles tonight. I packed up 8 gift bags for her for the munchkins
teachers and babysitter. Once I finish the stuff tonight, I will have my office people done and the 3 priests at church.
We are having 18 in for a sit-down dinner on Christmas Eve.

Mincemeat w B&B tarts
Cinnamon whipped cream
NY Cheesecake done in cupcake size- some plain w raspberry Chambord sauce, some w mini choc chips and choc drizzle on top
On Thursday, I'm making the desserts, the potato casserole, and sauces. Thursday night the ham so it can sit in the juices all night. Friday should then be pretty easy. I used to do this all in one day, but the new kitchen is not as accomodating as the old.
Christmas morning, I'm making a Danish pastry to take to my daughter's for brunch.
Christmas afternoon, I'm coming home to sleep...
