We're tired but done
« on: December 20, 2010, 11:12:30 AM »
For the past couple of months my daughter has been in no less than 3 different dance classes. One is her everyday ballet class. The second was the Poly that I posted and the third, and longest was her yearly production of The Nutcracker.
Iv'e been the taxi driver for my daughter since my wife is blind as a bat at night and REALLY shoulden't drive.
This past week I've been the one fetching "Kat" at 9 to 9:30 every night.
However it was worth every minute.
This years production was the best by far, and I mean it was GOOD. However it is sad that it will most likely be the last production because of mismanagement on the part of the facility that Northern California Ballet uses each year. They are broke and folding up this comming year(the theater), so it's a bitter sweet thing.

Here she is in the opening scene:

And here she is, middle-right.

I have never been so proud of my daughter. Being a Dad is the most wounderful thing in the world.

You are both so very lucky.

You've set the stage dad, pun intended, and I have a feeling the teenage years will be just fine.
