American Redneck Society formed to advocate for rural Americans
Washington Examiner

You might be a redneck if…you create a dues-paying society and a scholarship fund?

And that's what a Virginia man did last week, launching the “American Redneck Society.”

“I really felt that American Rednecks are an under-served, but large population that could benefit from a formal membership organization structure,” said American Redneck Society Executive Director Rob Clayton. >>>

"What does it mean to be a Redneck?" the group’s website asks.

There will be lots of jokes of course. And lots of humor is a good thing. But this is a cause whose time may have come. The average rural American has been just about totally ignored by the powers that be. Liberals fear rednecks, because rednecks believe in the Constitution, self-sufficiency and LIMITED government. We already have a Messiah, and it AIN'T Barack Obama! The powers that Be that are currently running the imperial federal Government have forgotten and ignored the Fact that hardworking Americans built and defended this great nation with little or no help from the ivy league snobs who have sold us out. Redneck knows no color - it's men and women who have traditional values and arent afraid to love God, family and country.

A good read is Thomas Sowell's Black Rednecks & White Liberals.
