Well, what perplexes me about the primitive attitude is that it seems blatantly hypocritical, and they don't see it.
On one hand, the primitives are always yelling and screaming, "don't mess with the environment," "don't tinker with nature," and so on. They don't want crops genetically-modified, for example, because it tinkers with nature. They don't want the side of a mountain sheared off, because it messes with the environment, the natural state of things.
Well, yeah, sure, one shouldn't tinker with nature, and besides, nature always wins in the end.
But on the other hand, the primitives are big advocates of sex-changing operations.
Uh, that's tinkering with nature.
Nature naturally made one something, and it's far better to accept, adapt, and move on, than to try and change oneself into something one wasn't born to be.
Nature always wins, in the end. Man's nothing, compared with nature.
Has anyone ever known of a changed-sexualized individual being happy?
I suspect most, if not all, of them become suicidal.
One shouldn't tamper with the natural order of things, after all.
There's probably more, but I haven't thought of any others at the moment, but anyway, about the only birth defect (the subway cat considers her female parts a birth defect, remember) that I think should be surgically corrected, nature tampered with, is a cleft palate.
As I said, there might be others, but I can't think of any at the moment.
And one's sexual organs are NOT a birth defect.
