Tourists view the Christmas tree which has been decked out with dollars 11 million U.S. (14.3 million euro) worth of gold, at the Emirates Palace hotel, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Thursday Dec. 16, 2010. The hotel's general manager, Hans Olbertz, was quoted in local newspapers Thursday as saying the 43-foot (13-meter) faux fir has 131 ornaments that include gold and precious stones including diamonds and sapphires. The $11 million symbol of the season has become the latest extravagance at the Emirates Palace hotel, which boasts its own marina, heliport and a vending machine that pops out small gold bars

That Christmas tree is in Dubai and that is a Muslim country. The Muslims there don't mind Christmas, unlike Muslims in America, along with moonbats.  :fuelfire:

Abu Dhabi is a pretty nice city. A jewel among the stones of the middle east. And there are TONS of US Dollars there, along with Euros and the rest. It's an oil town.

STFU retard. How many tax dollars? For a Christmas tree in freaking Dubai? I'm gonna ballpark that at, oh, 0. It's in a hotel that caters to the ultra-wealthy, I'm sure they charge enough in their room rates to pay for it themselves.

Imagine how many people you could feed for that or how many people could live off that. I find it a tad ridiculous they spent THAT much on a tree, but hey it is their money to waste.
