Stuff.

Edited on Wed Dec-15-10 09:05 AM by SoCalDem
Nothing we have, will "go with us"

Our kids probably don't want our stuff

We are "saving" things that will cause paroxysms of laughter when our family goes through our belongings (after we depart the planet)

We are spending money on stuff we "need" and "want", and in the end most of those things do not make us happy, healthy and certainly not wealthy or wise

We have houses stuffed to the rafters with "stuff"

We have red stuff, blue stuff, white stuff , brown stuff

Wooden stuff , metal stuff, and loads of plastic stuff

We have hitchhiker stuff on and in our stuff....
(stuff like cadmium, lead,formaldehyde)

We have granite stuff, stainless stuff, marble stuff

We re-buy old stuff we used to have, but got rid of

If we cannot find the real old stuff, we buy new replicas of the old stuff so we can reminisce about how much better our old stuff was

Eventually we realize that we really DO have too much stuff, so we.......

rent a storage unit somewhere to put the overflow stuff in, so we have room for more......

stuff..

I have no idea what this is all about.  :mental:

PLAIGARISM.  This is a rip-off of George Carlin's "A Place for my Things."   Once again, not an original thought rattling around their empty gourds.

I think it's an attempt to be funny about materialism.  I wonder if the DUmbass knows he's talking more about his own than us?

Those 'Self Storage' outfits are a license to print money. I have some friends that are in the business and it is amazing how someone (probably a DUmpster) will have a unit for ten years, be constantly late, pay late fees that are more than the rent, then finally go to auction. Typically these units have a lamp, a box or two of books, and clothes, and some crappy pieces of lawn furniture. Over the years these people have paid thousands of dollars to keep their crap

OH, OH, I KNOW!!!! We need self storage reform to save these DUmbasses from their own stupidity. This will entail another (there are about 10 pages in these contracts) that tells them something that the DUchebags will never read.  Of course, to implement and regulate this reform it will raise the prices by 20%.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

In copying the George Carlin bit and claiming it as his own (DUmmy greenbriar got tombstoned for that), this DUmbass overlooks one of the most fundamental principles of the democrat party. Democrats, due to their aversion to work, don't have nearly as much stuff as decent and civilized people. The democrat political philosophy is based on envy and hatred of people with stuff, and trying to legislate a way to take that stuff for themselves, without having to earn it.

It's a cover for the Death Tax! Our kids don't want to inherit our "stuff", even though it's worth quite a chunk of change! Therefore, kids won't mind us getting taxed even in death on wealth we have already been taxed on!

I have lots of ammo.  Does the government wnat 55% of that?  I will gladly give them 100% of it between 800 and 2800 FPS.
