Michael Moore offers $20,000 for Assange's bail
« on: December 14, 2010, 01:05:54 PM »
Surprise, surprise.

Quote
Yesterday, in the Westminster Magistrates Court in London, the lawyers for WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange presented to the judge a document from me stating that I have put up $20,000 of my own money to help bail Mr. Assange out of jail.

But that's not all.  Michael Moore also wants to help by offering his website/servers/domains to Assange.

Quote
Furthermore, I am publicly offering the assistance of my website, my servers, my domain names and anything else I can do to keep WikiLeaks alive and thriving as it continues its work to expose the crimes that were concocted in secret and carried out in our name and with our tax dollars.

Oh, Michael!  How sweet of you....

I can only hope he gets completely burned on the deal, and forfeits bail.

That's very likely, DAT.  How much was bail?  Why is Moore only chipping in $20K?  He's got plenty of dough.  Why not the whole shebang?

Didn't I hear somewhere he's at "Fat Camp" which is costing him some ridiculous sum per day?  Maybe that's "eating" at his pocketbook.

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

Well....it has been awhile since Mikey was front page news, so just like Jacko (when he was alive, of course), Mikey has got to say something or do something really outrageous to get him back in the public spotlight.

It's the same thing as shit - when it's fresh, it stinks pretty badly. Then it dries up and doesn't stink so badly any more. So Mikey has to come along and take another dump just to keep the aroma going.

Not a full meal - just an early morning Cheetos feeding...

Just another PR stunt by that talking tub of doughnut batter.

If it was anything more he'd have contributed the whole lot. Ain't like he doesn't have the cash to spare.

I don't know the total, I assume Fatass is only one contributor though, and he's only in it for the 20K that equates to one pizza party for him.
