Why do Log Cabin Republicans stay loyal and never threaten to bolt the party?
   
Can't get one stinking Republican Senator to vote for repeal of DADT, yet I never hear about any Log Cabin Republicans threatening to replace them with someone who might vote in their best interest? Why is that? Anyone know?

I happen to know someone on another board who is a Log Cabin Republican, and the issues he's interested in aren't issues such as marriage etc.

Maybe because the 1 I know is interested in Economics? is self sufficient? and is confident enough in himself that he doesn't feel the need to identify as a gay man 1st? has no desire to marry his partner even though they're committed? loves his Country?

Perhaps to some Log Cabin Republicans repeal of DADT and other social issues are lower down the priority list at the moment.

That is why you can`t ever grasp that most of us look at things based on what is in the best interest of the country and therefore will ultimately be in my best interests.

The very few i have ever talked too are usually very,very fiscally conservative....and most times loaded! No kids to eat into the monthly budget :-)
