Just got my increase in health insurance premium - Lord
My premium went from $476 to $618 a month. I am 62. I am not overweight. I don't drink, smoke or do drugs. I have no pre-existing conditions. I take no prescription drugs.

I am just about to become a radical like I was in college. I just wish I knew where to go to protest. I wrote to MacCaskill but just got a rote message back.

Everyone is aware of the problem. They are trying to work on it. Blah, blah, blah. And in the meantime? Does anyone even give a damn about the millions of older Americans that have simply been hung out to dry? Or simply left to die without health coverage or care?

I have tried to get cheaper coverage but I just get denied because of my age.

And this morning the paper had a big article on how the CEO's of these insurance companies are all making huge amounts.

Where the hell is there a democratic politician that has the balls to give a voice to all the older Americans that need help? There has to be someone.

Awww, that's so sad.  I bet it's all the fault of those Republican meanies, though, innit?  Not Pelosi, Reid, and Obama who rammed it all through with no significant cooperation from the GOP at all, though.  Damn, how do those evil bastards make fools of such saintly people?  I bet Rove and Cheney were behind it!

She can get on that wonderful Obamacare can't she?  :whatever:

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

30% is going to be the norm. Looks like Obama ain't the guy to make subsidized health care work either.

I got a hunski that says last year the OP DUchebag's insurance went up around 6%.

That is so EPIC. Maybe you can ask the lord zero why your premiums went up when he told the American people that they would not. Why is that, primitive??
Because you're just the dupes/the pawns. You're just stepping stones that he needs to further his socialist/communist agenda.

I would laugh if they weren't taking the rest of us down with them.

Thanks, assholes.

My Nelson was the 'told ya so' laugh.

Yeah, it sucks... but we warned them months before the HC law passed.  We were called all sorts of names.  Now that this law is messing with THEIR money, they ain't having it.

(618-476)/476 = .298 or 29.8%. Obama said that his HellCare would lower premiums by 3000% and everyone would get a big fat raise.  Someone needs to turn the DUchebag into flag.gov.

I have to assume that the co-pay and deductible stayed the same but I bet both went up and the DUmbass doesn't know it yet. Can't wait for that thread.  Of course when it notices it the EVIL republicans will be in power so it will be their fault....or..

DUN, DUN, DAAAA

George Bush's fault.

Jeeze, cut 'em some slack.

Hey, you stupid old hag, you sow it, you reap it.

I'd feel sorry for the dumb old bitch, but she wouldn't be happy unless that 30% increase was replaced by a 100% decrease.

Well, eat shit, lady.
