So what was my tax break? 3%?

That about right? Ok, fine, I'd gladly let my tax break expire, along with the tax breaks for the wealthy to help the country get back on it's feet. So **** the compromise, put all the taxes back to where they were when Clinton was President. Give my 3% to some person who's job was outsourced by the very people who are whining about taxes.

Time for the so called "Patriots" to put their ****ing money where their mouth is. Freepers Tea Baggers, whatever you want to call them, claim the Patriotic label right up until they have to sacrifice something. Then it's all a socialist plot. You think America is the "greatest country on earth"? THEN ****ING PAY TO KEEP IT THAT WAY OR STFU.

Put your money where your mouth is and send the IRS extra money or STFU.

Any lib that donates their "tax cut" I will give kudos to. You may be wrong but, at least you are putting your money where your mouth is.

9. Under the Bill Clinton tax code

I made $15k more a year.

My health insurance for an entire family was half of what I pay for myself alone now.

Gas, groceries and utilities were cheaper too so hell yes!

Raise my taxes too!

but I, like you, am a true :patriot:

You do realize that you won't be seeing an extra $1,50.00 next year right?
You will have the same tax rate you had this year.

That's my pledge - I will figure out how to calculate the difference and donate that amount to help those I wanted to help by foregoing this damn tax 'break'. People out there need help and if the government won't do it then damn it, I will.

Why were you ever waiting for the gov't to "do it" in the first place, you cheap piece of trash?  It's always been your personal responsibility as a citizen to take care of your fellow citizen, not "do it" via the gov't,  What kind of complete idiot would want a gov't agency to see after others when they could be doing it themselves?

Do they really think surrendering more money to the government will help the economy??

I'm not sure whether to be scared or laugh at these idiots willingness to just let the government steal 3% more of their income than what they already do.

Just confirms what I've heard that Liberals believe that the income from a job doesn't come from the employer but from what the Government allows them to have.
The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

The primitives do realize that they can voluntarily overpay their taxes, right ?

So, if they are feeling 'patriotic' why not make it official ? They can tax themselves at the former rate, and Obama will be glad to get it -

- but they wont.. Not even the rich liberals.. They will keep all of their money, then complain about not being taxed enough.

We could tax the rich at 99% and they would still want more.

Ya know Freeper, you're exactly right.  Just from reading the thread up there, they believe they'll be seeing some kind of cash windfall.  This is how the Dems spun and framed their talking points for TV day in and day out.  Free money for the Rich!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!     So now the DUmmies are grandstanding, saying how they'll take their huge infusion of moolah and donate it to Bobolink or something.  And just yesterday, some DUmmie posted that "DU has the smartest people on earth."

I will make the assumption that if the OP DUmbass works it is in the lowest of tax brackets. It would have seen it's income tax go up 50%, from 10-15%.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Do they not realize that because of the oppressive tax code in this country (and threats of even more oppressive taxes and regulations) that those horrible, God-awful, mean-spirited rich people have all but stopped their charitable giving?  They can put this squarely on the shoulders of the socialists running this country!

This is the precisely what differentiates liberals from conservatives.  Even their zero heroes, the Obamas and the The Bidens, were very, very stingy when it came to charitable giving.

Let people control how to spend their own money and guess what happens?  They feel freer to donate to the less fortunate.

Poor DUmmies - logic is not one of their strengths.  That's exactly why they are poor and so easily led by the liars in our government.

That observation would generate an enormous argument at the DUmp, with warring factions fighting over whether it's a 50% increase, or a 5% increase.

You got that right. The left uses whatever is the best for their argument of making bigger government. Using the above, if it were a tax cut from 15-10% it would be a DRACONIAN cut of 33%.  If it is a tax hike then it is just 5%. This is why the conservatives need to start defining the discussion.
