I was staying at a hotel yesterday and watched him on TV for the first time - other than little clips on youtube.

It wasn't pleasant.  Not having heard him, but some people told me he was a great speaker who "energized the country," I gave him more credit. 

I thought posters here were just criticizing him groundlessly on that.  He was smug.  Also sensed something pathetic about his demeanor and didn't bother to try to decide if that was put on or real.

Very glad the National Finals Rodeo was on one of the ESPN stations.

It looked alot like Lord Zer0 was that calf they let out of the stall with a cowboy in hot pursuit to lasso and hogtie him. 
Or maybe he's the snake oil salesman being run out of town with torches and pitchforks.

The presser was a thing of beauty because he was standing there in front of the idiots who elected him and his clothes were missing.

The jug-eared muslim's annual press conference is an entertaining event. It's the only time we ever see him without his teleprompter, and without a backdrop formed by the vacant, smiling faces of the nodding peanut gallery that's assembled for his daily televised speeches. (I have long suspected that those pinheads and their bleacher seats are transported around the country on Air Force One, along with the teleprompter.) The Kenyan and his advisors realize how risky it is for him to speak without a script, hence the extreme rarity of these events.
