So about this “fighting back” thing

It seems evident that President Obama has decided that “fighting back” is not part of his political strategy, or overall plan. And it makes me wonder if “fighting back” is even a part of his vocabulary, or philosophy.

“We The People of the United States,” have been mugged, mauled, robbed, impoverished, abused beyond belief, and have had far too many of our constitutional rights stolen from us since the beginning of this decade.

President Obama did not initiate this abomination. He did not decimate our lives, or our concepts of what we believed our country to be. But he sure as hell hasn’t done all that much to turn it around. And in many cases, whether intentionally or not, his decisions and actions have abetted it.

I know there are many here on DU, and many others, who disagree with my opinions. It has taken me until fairly recently to admit to myself that he is not acting in our best interests.

I’ve said before that this is a man in which I once saw greatness. It seems I was mistaken.

Oops, it seems the discussion around the campfire gets derailed immediately once it's lit.

Seriously, what greatness? all I saw was a Narcissist who was handed everything in life and never heard the word no, someone who touted being a community organizer who didn't do a damn thing to improve the lives of his constituents on the South Side of Chicago, a man who we've been told is brilliant yet his school records are sealed, a man who refused to take a stand in the Senate, a man who wasn't up to the job then and as we see he still isn't. You didn't see greatness you saw color when you voted for him, you didn't look at the person you just saw the color and the D after his name and the dream you had going on in your head, and you voted for that, you wanted to be able to scream "see we're not racist".

And you're not fooling me with this 180 you're doing from supporting Obama to not supporting him, you're only doing it because the majority of DU is doing it and you want to be perceived as 1 of the cool kids.
