On Aug. 29, 2007, Raila Odinga signed a secret Memorandum of Understanding with Sheikh Abdullahi Abdi, chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum of Kenya. In exchange for Muslim support, Odinga agreed, among other things, to:

Rewrite the national constitution to install sharia as the law in all “Muslim declared regions.”
Elevate Islam as “the only true religion” and give Islamic leaders an “oversight role to monitor activities of ALL other religions.”
Establish sharia courts in every Kenyan divisional headquarters.
Ban Christian proselytism.
Fire the police commissioner for “allow[ing] himself to be used by heathens and Zionists” to oppress Muslims.
Adopt Islamic dress codes for women.
Ban alcohol and pork.

Who paid for this?

An investigation by three Republican congressmen has revealed the Obama administration has secretly spent $23 million of U.S. taxpayer dollars in Kenya to fund a “Yes” vote on   a constitutional referendum that would increase access to abortions in Kenya and establish legal status for Islamic law tribunals - a move that some congressmen have contested violates the Siljander amendment, a statute that prohibits the federal government from lobbying for or against abortion with foreign aid funds.

Why should we give a shit?

Kenyan PM, Raila Odinga, is Barack Obama’s cousin for whom Obama used $23 million in US taxpayer dollars to promote a Shari’a Law-based constitution in Kenya. FYI: ONLY 12% OF KENYA IS MUSLIM.

Wasn't there a question about sharira law in one of the states during these past elections? WTF is all I have to say? Why would we need a sharia law in the U.S. other than to "erase" the Christian/Catholic faith and only "install" Islam. Women would be subjected to the throwbacks garb as well.

Oklahoma passed a constitutional amendment banning courts from using Sharia or international law in any cases, and the voter approved (by 70%) amendment was immediately challenged in court and blocked by a judge.  Some CAIR representative, I believe, who wrote a will with Sharia issues...and filed it the day after the amendment passed...using that will as the basis for the case.  The ACLJ is currently working to uphold the amendment...

How does sharia law IN ANY WAY reflect American values?  It's a direct violation of the First Amendment in that it provides unequal treatment based upon religious affiliation.

I think that's the $1,000,000 question, doc. How can ANY judge sitting in ANY American courtroom make the connection that sharia law supersedes the Constitution?
