51. Good. Tax them. Tax them at a 99% rate. But I'm not sure how that gets an unemployed person a

good job. Or is it all about revenge for you?

It's all about revenge. The fact that some people have worked hard made good decisions and profit drives these goons nuts.

59. I'm calling for a 120% rate after a decent amount to live on...

They've robbed us blind for the last 35 years...

At about that rate!

It's time for them to pay us back...

Just yesterday a guy jumped out of a limo and mugged me.  :mental:

Even at 120%, there aren't enough rich to keep all their lazy asses supplied with pot and cheezy poofs.

29. YES. And if they don't like it they can **** off and move to Russia.
I'm SO tired of these people whining , crying and carrying on about ****ing TAXES.
The Republican party is nothing more than a few ultra-rich dirty greedy pigs and multitudes of (proudly) misinformed sheep that buy their socialist boogyman bullshit.
The rich have willfully decimated the nations manufacturing base by moving production overseas to take advantage of cheap labor and "business friendly" governments that allow them to pollute with impunity while at the same time using that very same cheap overseas labor as an excuse for not paying American workers living wages.
As far as I am concerned there are wealthy people stealing from ME every single day. Every time, cash my paycheck, take my kid to the doctor, or pay my bills. Some rich person or other always has their hand in MY god damned pocket while at the same time some other rich person is refusing to let me keep a fair percentage of the value I help to create with honest effort and skill.

121. Stolen assets are rightly returned to their proper owners
The rich got that way by stealing, lying, thieving, cheating and otherwise swindling other people. All of their assets are ill gotten gains that rightfully belong to others.

Would you allow a car thief to continue using the stolen vehicle to commute to work with? I don't think you would.

You might just want to ask New York how well the tax hikes are doing there. Tax revenue down. Manufacturing down. wealth fleeing the state UP.  Old Gov Paterson while bragging that they got rid of Rush would really liike to have him and the other wealth generators come back.

It isn't the greed that is sending manufacturing out of blue states and the USA in general, it is the hostile city/county/state/federal governments that are sending it.

You know.......it is a source of  neverending amazement to me how many liberals were cutting class the days that concepts like the "Lafler Curve", and "diminishing returns" were discussed.  Further, they insist on telling us that they are the smart ones....... :mental:

Pardon my ignorant capitalist-sponsored educational ignorance.

But how can you tax someone 120%?

If you make 100 bucks, you have to return 120 of it?

Talk about a Lafler curve....

The DUmmies have talked about taxing a persons wealth, not just their income, so yes.  The rich would have to dip into their wealth to come up with the extra 20%.

After we take everything away from the evil rich where will we get the money needed to keep up with all the social programs?

I believe that I recently read a piece by Walter Williams that stated [sic]

"If we confiscate the ENTIRE wealth of the top 5% of the population.......that includes cash, investments, houses, corporations, boats, planes, the whole banana.........it would only last for five years at Obama's current rate of annual spending........"

Once it is gone, there would be nothing else to generate additional wealth or government revenues........the entire national budget would either:

Collapse......

or

Fall entirely on the backs of the "poor" and middle class

It's the "Hugo Chavez" theory of economics........

You have to remember Doc that to DUmmies and the left wealth is both finite (everyone that has more then me has stolen it from me and it is rightly mine) and infinite (there is a never ending pool of riches to tap into to give to me).

It is the basis of their economic theory and why liberalism/socialism has always failed.

74. Yes - If making the rich into the super-rich actually created jobs...... then this country would have had zero unemployment at the end of W's eight years. Rich people simply don't create jobs. And even if they did, they would not do so in an economic vacuum (i.e. shrunken middle class and nervous consumers).
So? When was the last time you worked for a poor person owning a business, you skrunts. How do you explain your logic here DUmmies? I would love to hear the replies. :mental:

That thread clearly indicates why 98% of the DUchebags are living o welfare, SSDI, or their parents.

I could post how the top earners in the U.S. pay the majority of the taxes, and back it up with CBO and IRS stats, but it'd be useless. The ass-monkeys don't care about facts. Just "feelings".

How appropriate that this idiotic lyrical fragment doesn't mention that this tactic doesn't actually reduce or provide any lasting benefit to "the poor".

I can't help but think all these "Tax the rich to death" people consider their own self "poor" and further expect that they will get a big fat handout should "the rich" ever be purged.

Reality is that the overstuffed government they love so much would piss it on the wall waste 90c in the dollar "administering" the payout of dividends and the DUmmie would get nothing. They'd still be poor, still be hungry and would soon be lining up the group of people who narrowly missed being in the previous purge for a little redistributing.

Right up to the very day they are informed by a couple of stone faced gentleman from the government that due to the progress on the eat the rich project" - you are now considered rich. Hand it over.
