Heard on the radio news this morning that if you are on food stamps, you can't buy sugared drinks with it. Regardless whether that's a good thing or not, it goes to show you how, when you rely on the government, you've got their boot on your neck. This never ends in happiness. Witness Bobolink, who
thinks she should have a furnished mansion all to herself, with pocket money to boot, paid for by the rest of us. Since it's not going to happen, she's reduced to her car (as the tale goes, of course). Take money from the government, put a ball & chain on your ankle.
