Actually in a strange way, this is a GOOD thing........

First, it validates everything that conservatives have said regarding the folly of trying these terrorists in civilian court. and......

Second, it ensures that Gitmo will stay open for the foreseeable future, as well as the reconvening of military tribunals.......Obama has no other choice now.

The left has painted themselves into a corner on this.......

Now the administration has to put up or shut up about holding these guys even without guilty verdicts. They'll probably push for the maximum sentence on the one conviction they did get.

but the obamites have said all along that they weren't ever going to release him regardless of the verdict, which is the very definition of a "show trial", and something that I thought only happened in third world countries and banana republics . . .
