I have no clue about how to mole over there. I cannot stand the place.
I dunno how many moles I've had on Skins's island.
Probably 10-12, over the past nine and a half years.
Because I was watching the 2001 inaugural parade on television, and saw Skins and Lord Marblehead in the crowd holding up a large banner, DEMOCRATICUNDERGROUND.COM, as the parade went by, some days later on the internet I checked it out.
It didn't look too good at the time, but it had just gotten underway.
I checked it every so often that spring and summer, and at one point registered.
Then 9/11 happened, and I put it aside.
About a year after 9/11, I went back, but my moles made a lot of mistakes, and got banned.
It wasn't until the Scamdal of spring 2005 that I had a mole with feet.....and then lo and behold, in the midst of the Scamdal, someone who had joined Skins's island in the spring of 2001, disgusted with the really stupid antics of Beth, Doug's wife at the time, gave me the gift of his/her (I know what it was, but confidentiality is important here) screen-name and password.
The mole I had created, and this more-senior "member," lasted a couple of years beyond that, but I was getting kind of tired and worn out from the primitives, and made one negligent mistake (the mole I had created), and one intentional mistake (the mole that had been given to me), and both had gotten banned.
So I had to start all over again......
This time around, however, this mole does NOT exist to discombobulate the primitives; franksolich has way too much respect for his fellow alum Skins to do that. This mole usually takes care to comment, but only in one or two sentences; I don't dare write anything long, because franksolich's "style" is too-easily identifiable.
This mole exists to establish "personal message" "relationships" with certain primitives, so as to collect anthropological material, and since that's all behind the curtain and doesn't cause any discombobulation among the primitives, my fellow alum leaves me alone.
I'm sure Skins knows who my mole is, but again, because I don't cause him any problems, he leaves me alone in peace and quiet.
I always found it interesting, how a real-life person can get too involved in an identity as an internet person--it's been some years now, but I
still react to "Walt," for example, as if it's me.
