Which party is the celebrity party?
« on: November 13, 2010, 09:03:27 PM »
I always hear that celebrities and famous people are more likely to be Democrats? Is this true....and if so, why is this? I, personally, researched this topic and found some evidence that goes against that claim. I found that a lot of celebrities are famous conservatives. I think that the whole famous democrat speculation is just some weird political rumor. A lot of conservatives are famous people in Hollywood and sports. So, why do Democrats try to portray such a celebrity population?

Not sure what you mean, but to protect our members against unwanted spam I removed that link you put in your post.

Perhaps you could elaborate.

Newsflash, noob--for every conservative inside Hollywierd, there are at least 10 flaming moonbat liberals.  Don't believe me?  There's a member here who works in the entertainment industry.  Ask him.

Here's a little research project for you.  Google search Hollywood contributions to political parties.

That will tell you all you need to know about why it's not just some "weird political rumor".
Liberalism Is The Philosophy Of The Stupid

The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years.  The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

To be fair--are there some conservative/libertarian leaners in Hollywood?  No doubt.

Kelsey Grammer, Clint Eastwood, Chuck Norris, Gary Sinise, Adam Sandler and some others are aligned with or support GOP candidates.

However, far, far, FAR more are Democrats or outright moonbat liberals.  Take some cues from folks like Danny Glover, Martin Sheen, Mike Farrell, Sean Penn, Oliver Stone, Ed Asner, Woody Harrelson, Stephen Spielburg, Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, Woody Allen, Janeane Garofalo, Rosie O'Donnel, Joy Behar, Barbara Streisand, Warren Beatty, etc., etc., etc...

Ben Affleck, Robert DeNiro, Oprah Winfrey, James Cameron, Kiefer Sutherland, Jamie Foxx--all supported Obama and stumped for him, along with many other Hollywood celebs.

Starting to see a pattern?

And it's nothing new.  Name Fonda ring a bell?  Henry Fonda was nearly as liberal as his daughter who went to North Vietnam to support the troops--THE NVA, that is.

Yet funny how when THEIR guy is in the White House, they've gone strangely silent, despite nothing really changing in Iraq and Afghanistan (well, besides the fact we pretty much WON in Iraq, despite their best efforts to throw a monkey wrench in that process.)  Unemployment?  Not a good "cause" to have.  Sure, they'll still open up their pocketbooks for Democrats, just don't expect them to speak about "social justice".  After all, liberal policies are something the "other guy" pays for, not them.

Finally, I leave you with this:
