I do not agree with everything Dr. Paul says, but this is definitely a good way of keeping Bernanke in check. His job is about to become hell.

I do not agree with about 75 percent of what the squeaky little nutjob says, from his foreign policy to his wanting to flush the economy into a generation-long depression.

While the end results I might agree with (end the Fed, severely curtail entitlement spending, etc.,) the methods in which he wants to accomplish these things are 1--unconstitutional (read: he can't just "shut down the IRS" as he's stated), 2--would throw such a shock to the system it would be akin to taking a car going 100 mph down the freeway and throwing it immediately into reverse.  Sure, you're stopped, but you're not going anywhere with that stream of parts behind you either.

Don't even get me started with his foreign policy.  Oh, did I also mention the guy comes across as a ****ing hypocrite?  Mmmmmm...good shrimp.

Finally, there's that whole anti-Semite/racist bit.  Don't tell me he didn't know what was being put in his newsletters, etc.  His newsletter, his responsibility.  Oh, and when he doesn't return campaign donations from the head of Stormfront, that should tell you something right there.
